...which clearly means my point was that PS5 is consistently in the lead in the areas DF tested. One of the screenshots you took from the video shows a lead of 6fps lol.

So, again, if the game is cpu limited as you said, why is the same cpu clocked lower in the PS5 outperforming the Series X? 🤷‍♂️

The Xbox Series consoles appear to be using VRS. FSR appears to be used to upscale the image to 3840x2160 on PS5 and Series X in both modes and 2560x1440 on Series S. The UI resolution is also rendered at 3840x2160 on PS5 and Series X in both modes and 2560x1440 on Series S.

According to Alex, changing the crowd density from low to high has a 10% impact on cpu performance. I wouldn't call that overburdening lol. However, driving around the CiTy, even in low crowd areas, results in a series of quick LoD transitions that impact cpu performance. IIRC, the Series X saw its lowest drop in performance during DF's test when driving 🤷‍♂️
