Online gaming working fine on connect? like Dota 2 and League of Legends, I'm on Fariya and its not working for me especially from 2:00 pm can't even login in league but it works fine on morning like 10:00 am. I did a speedtest on Netherlands server and the result was 157 ping, 0.2mpbs download ??? upload (upload stuck doesn't start in speedtest). I'm having this problem from a week now and its getting worse day by day.

btw fariya and connect both use the transworld bandwidth thing?

It seemed like an issue when you posted it but isn't now. Still though, don't switch to Connect. Pings go up from 6PM-2AM and they won't accept this fact and give bullshit reasons for it. In addition to this, streaming videos (even 240p) is horrendous, not to mention even browsing fucks up at times. Oh, and I don't know if you've already read it but torrents are capped to half of whatever package you have. I've had Connect for around 2-3 months now and it was alright at first, providing me with consistent pings allowing me to play CSGO MM and some other games with a couple of my European and Balkan friends but now it's just... I can't even think of a word for it. I'll provide for a screenshot for you to take a guess at what pings are like from 6PM-2AM.

Notice how I'm getting that consistent ping with Dubai but not others? Well... if I were to reset my router for some reason, there is a possibility that I'd end up on an IP which won't be as well routed even on Dubai servers.

I get same exact pings on Fariya after 6pm but the problem is the game, I can't even login on league of legends anymore it just says "Logging on" for like 15 mins but it works fine in the morning, so I was thinking if changing to connect will solve that problem.
So anyone that plays league on connect, does it work fine for you? especially after 6 or 8pm.

I don't care about torrents tho I think we get normal speeds on fariya.

Another thing is that browsing is working fine, so is FB and as long as FB is working fine I don't thing fariya will do anything to solve the problem for its gaming players :\

I m using connect on F.B Area Block 14. Connect net depends on cable guy in your area if that guy is good then your network is also good. In my area cable guy is not that interested to maintain good network so my net is not that good and yes after 6PM to 12 midnight net goes shi*. So i m not satisfied with my connect net and one more thing my cable guy charge more as compared to package price mentioned on connect website. I m suggest you to find a person or friend in your area who use connect net and ask him how was the net and if better you can check internet on his home before you purchase connect net.

Currently i m using mobilink 3G internet for doing surfing and downloading stuff. But i don't recommend wireless internet for gaming purpose. Here are few options:

1- PTCL (If your phone line is good)
2- Any cable net (Dream Net, Fariya ...etc. if that's good in ur area)

Other Options that are excellent choice for gaming but i think they are not available in your area.

1- Transworld Fiber Optic Connection
2- Storm Fiber
3- PTCL GPON

Gaming ppls in Karachi suffers alot due to Shi**y PeeTCL I myself was played COD4 few years back So i was tried to find good internet but what i found every good Internet company doing or starting their service in DHA and/or Clifton area. So i m very disappointed that Other areas of Karachi is suffer alot.

I get 2 Mbps. Sometime ago speed was like 8 to 10 Mb. Now I download movies and other torrents on IDM directly

I have been using connect and in my opinion its service is juz ok...
Its rarely disconnect
And net mb speed is less than actual package like if u're using 1 mb u will get 100 KB instead of 130 to 140...
I m living in nazimabad 3 no and hope the service would be same

In the day time you will get 190 kbps and in night i mean after evening the speed is like 90 kbps. Im talking about 1MB pckg

I have been using vtcs (DREAMNET) too and at night 3 am to 12pm its speed goes to 250 to 300 kbps
But in connect Only at 7am to 10 it become bit better which is none 4 me

Yes the happy hours time has been reduced in Connect. It was like 12 to 12 before. Now its only 7 to 10

Anyways i'm paying a thousand rupees for a 4MB Connection. And speeds of peak times are about 250-300KBPS. And 600-700KBPS on Happy Hours. So its completely fine On my end.
