they fixed pings for the same period you mentioned; that too was about two weeks ago, after which i've been on their case to fix shit.

At first they fixed it and then they said they had to take it up with PTCL for the SEA pings (EU pings nothing can be done about because PTCL themselves went and fucked them up on purpose - striker has the details on that one) and would update me of the position via email, which they still haven't done. I even told them that there was a direct peering session b/w valve and PTCL and that they only had to get the correct routing from PTCL to ensure parity across the board for connect users.

Support did tell me though that 10mbit connections were on completely different servers/backend/bandwidth which have perfect routing to SEA (and shitty routing via EU, but still better routing than 4mb and under connections).

So anyone here using Connect to play online on International servers..? How's the speed and at what ping. I am talking abt games like COD BO2 AND BF3...

how do you guys play youtube on connect internet. I got 4 mb connection today and very pleased so far but i am not able to play youtube videos.............some guidance would be appreciated.

i dont' have bf3, but i can check pings by tracing them. On the 10mb connection (which has excellent routing to singapore) i get 79-83ms constant on the counter strike global offensive servers (private AND official valve ones).

My buddy has bf3 so I'll probably snag that from him and see whether it is playable.

Also, is there a way to run hotspot shield on connect assuming I'm connected to a router?

no you tube on Connect im afraid...you can try running it (with the connection inactive) then connect once HSS is launched. This method works sometimes, but it screws up IDM.

International pings are good and reportedly vary from package to package. It also helps if you can convince your local dealer to route your connection properly.

I have a question. Can I use YouTube on connect if I am connected through a router? I heard we could before but some of the posts above suggest otherwise.

Damn connect claim they offer services in almost all of karachi and don't even cover whole of P.E.C.H.S (where they are based) that pisses me off cause I wanna get rid of shitty PTCL

Same here. I live in PECHS Block 2 and they said they do not have cable on the other side of the road, if they get more requests then they will extend coverage to my area....this sucks big time because their packages look very attractive and are all UNLIMITED.

im using connect at the moment. i just switch on my TPlink device n it connects automatically.

iam using connect net in hyderabad but iam paying 1500 for 2mbps i talked abt this local wala but he told me price is different for karachi users and hyderabad users...its not cool..
my request to connect owner plz price same rekho karachi waly plz introduce new pkg in hyderabad like 10mbps thx

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
