well me too not a big fan of Sony when it comes to Audio sound systems but i've to buy this as this one had extra options and shape is awesome. tried getting Pioneer but 90% were sold and as i had pioneer head deck previously so was looking for something like Alpine or Clarion.

there were only JVC, Kenwood and Sony left ... tried hard to either get my hands on kenwood/JVC ones but they were last ones on display so didn't bother getting those. Clarion don't have a great repu here in Oz so there you go ... AVOID it.

i still didn't install it in my car yet and for those who says its bulky, so to some extent it is but my car has plenty of room for double dins, will really look good in that. As mentioned will share the pic once this thing will be installed & up n running.

i have 400Watts Pioneer amp and 1200watts pioneer sub & 6 speakers.

Exactly in car audio I only trust Pioneer in Pakistan =P Plus they do charge a premium but their products are great aswell.
JVC is okay for a budget system but not great.
Kenwood interms of pre are pathetic imo. But their speakers are great.

I am getting a living that you dont live in Pakistan so you must have more options interms of models in pioneer,sony etc.

And as for the amp dont you think its not enough for your system ? Plus you should really try Alpine V12 amp its a great digital amp I have it installed and its awesome better than anything available here. I got for a steal from Peshawar =P
