I was using 2 ram sticks in two slots but a few days ago a friend borrowed one stick from me and now when i install two sticks it doesnt boot :(
I have tested Both memory sticks in Slot A both work fine but none works fine in slot B(at times i could boot by changing and changing position of sticks (matlab thora bohat hilanay se ) )
so whats the cure ? is it loose ? or any problem in mobo ? because it sometimes works if I keep changing position and works there if not shaken but even if I remove dvd rom or insert mic/head phone plug it hangs and then no restart to make sure its not due to plugging any device I gave casing a genlte push and had same effect

Yeh make sure you are installing ram correctly
rams sits quite securely in slots so its should not shake
See if if locks on B slot are locking correctly
Becarefull ram burns or burn mobo slot easily
never shake rams during operation
they gets damaged or burns mobo slot if they are not sitted properly

I got this from your pc specs: Corsair 2 GB DDR2 value ram+2gb kingston 800mhz Dual channel @836MHZ. You are using two different brands. may be it is the problem. try both rams on your friend mobo and tell us about the result.

Clean the RAM modules with a dry cotton cloth. Try to blow out dust from the RAM slot b on the mobo. Then reinsert the RAM module slot b and try again.

thanks to all yar im posting with both ram sticks but wht I have seen is that my pc case does not have full back plate for mobo so when I installed Ram that pressure was on PCB of mobo and that might have shaken it a bit now have mobo out on a box on table and working fine but my best guess still is this slot is loose can it be repaired?

- Never touch the golden connections with your hands.
- Try to pull the jumper for a while.

As far as I've discovered, your RAM stick is damaged. Because it had happened to me as well it also showed bad timings and specifications in CPU-Z. Try changing your RAM see if it works, if it does than don't "NIKAAL-DAAL-NIKAAL-BAAR-BAAR". This is the most dangerous thing you could do to your slots.

Also, try running the single stick (of course the one which is troubling you) when it works by shaking as you said, check it's specs.

yar I use the white clips to unhook ram and when I set it in they automatically lock and I dont think that I am ever brutal with hardware have been assembling pcs for 5 years now (obviously my own) and not a piece hardware ever wasted but the thing is that case has back plate that does not cover this region where ram slot b is so thats cause of problem pressure surely was put direct on PCB but its working fine since Fajr (hope will work forever fingers crossed)
