Can An XBOX Be Carried From One Country To Another?

My 360 died just before GTA V came out and I am going nuts here. And I am also broke right now. Luckily, I was smart enough to start saving up money for my bad times but dumb enough to access themfor a new xbox which I am only going to use for a single game. F*ck it though, GTA > Life.

So, my sister's gonna be visiting Canada in the next couple days and it's the cheapest option that I ask her to bring one for me from over there.

My question, can it be carried without anyone bugging her at the airport? It is a big ass box. Does all that customs jazz apply to such stuff if carried personally? Should it be put in the luggage or carry-on?

yeah ofcourse.. just tell her to pack it in her luggage safely etc... i dont think they would bug her if its inside her SUITCASE etc but if shes gonna hand carry it and if someone sees it than perhaps they might ask questions or try to get some money but many ppl bring as much as 2 or 3 and no duty gets imposed on it so far..

You can carry it without any trouble.
But due to the world nature.
Tell your sister to put it in the suitcase alot better.
you know, pakistani's.

it would be better if she can carry it in a hand bag or something, not a good idea to put it in luggage, my FAT ps3 has survived more than 15 journeys(Europe,middle east etc) from one place to another, the key is to keep it in your handbag..

in my last 4 trips to karachi ive personally brought over 25 cell phones and 3-4 laptops each trip.
and even when travelling alone without my wife or baby they never care... 2 of those times they even had me open luggage to inspect for contraband.

your sister can bring it easily without any hassle. i go on international travel every month and i take stuff too.
just tell her to keep the xbox in her luggage (without any packing). just take out the xbox from its box and remove all packings etc and simply stuff it in your clothes (hand carry or luggage)

this precaution is just so that the pakistani customs dont bug you. if you bring an item like this you can easily justify that its a personal item

Well honestly speaking, the box can be unfolded and can kept inside the luggage. If she opens it and brings it, they will not stop her, if they do, you can always say its " personal " use and secondly, they do not stop families. So no need to worry.

hand carry will not be good as they might force to put in the luggage. Just securly pack it and all set to go. If she is coming to Pakistan , karachi ? Advice me her passenger name and number via pm and i assure you hassle free gaming once she reaches home !!!
