Buying Slots from PlaystationStore.

Salam all,
Could someone explain to me how exactly does this buying slots from other business work? What does it mean? Isit legal?

Secondly, I have a UK account. If I buy, let's say Battlefield 3 from a user who has bought this game from the US store and he is selling a slot, will I be able to play it on my account?

its just a loophole from sony but they fixed it now !

you can only share upto 2 ps3s on a single account now sadly it aint legal but ppl still do it and sony KNOWS IT

No sorry, DLC is region locked. If the game is Region 1 (US) then you must buy DLC for a Region 1 store (again US) not for a Region 2 store (UK)

well i have a us main account and if i do get a region 2 game than i get region 2 dlc from UK store and still play it on my US main account... once you get a dlc from a certain store for that game, it is unlocked for all USERS on that ps3 system... hope u get it.

To be honest, I'm still a bit lost.

Just tell me: There's a guy selling a BF3 company slot for 2500. He originally bought the game from a US store. From what I have heard and read, you require an online pass to play. Now I have a UK account and thats what I want to play on and I will have to buy the online pass from the UK store only. I think. So what should I do? Just remember, I want to continue playing the game online on my UK account and not any other. Any help would be appreciated.

Get the game from his account, if bought it from the store than he must've also gotten the Online Pass with the download. Download both the file onto your PS3 and install them, then head on over to your UK account and start playing. Simple.

If he doesn't have the online pass than you'll have to create another account which should be region 1 (US) and buy the BF3 online pass from that store and download/install it. Then head on over to your UK account and start playing.

Yup, it will work on a PSN account from any region, as long as the code was redeemed on its region-specific store.

Yup, you will, as long as your game is Region 2 i.e. it is the European version, which UK falls under.

Yeah, it is kind of strict, but you can always deactivate your account on one of those two consoles from within account management. Then, you can activate it on the 3rd console.

Also, God forbid, if you end up with a YLOD, you can deactivate your account on all your earlier consoles by signing in here:

Yup, that's right. Once you reactivate your PSN account, everything you had downloaded from it will remain active.

Yup, that's it. All your activated consoles will then be deactivated, and you'll have to reactivate your PSN account from the console you're currently using.

well i tried to de-activate my ps3 older one which has GOT YLOD and isnt working at all now and this is what the online site told me
