Assalam-o-Alaikum

After 3 years of not adding anything to my PC, I'm thinking it's about time I upgrade. 3 Years ago I purchased P5QPL-VM EPU & Core 2 Duo 2.66Ghz (E8200). Motherboard gets out of order after an year then I purchased P5KPL-AM EPU, which is the only Asus Motherboard available at that time.

I need help in building an i3 computer, I just need a Motherboard, Processor and Ram. Budget is 20,000 Rupess Maximum.

  • No Intel Motherboard.
  • Motherboard should have built-it VGA because I don't have external Graphics Card.
  • I don't overclock.

Thanks in advance. :)

Ivy Setup:

I3 3220 - 12 100
Gigabyte H61M - 5 300
4 GB DDR3 - 1 950
= 19 350

Sandy Setup:

I3 2120 - 11 400
Gigabyte H61M - 5300
4GB DDR3 - 1 950
= 18 650

HD 2500 is present in I3 3220 which is a little better than HD 2000 of I3 2120

I can not purchase Motherboard from other city because claiming warranty will become headache for me. Also I3 2100 isn't looking good choice at 11,500 while I3 3220 available at 12,100.

I like the first suggestion but I never purchased Gigabyte Motherboard before. How's the warranty claiming service of Gigabyte? Usually whenever I claimed Asus warranty they claimed in less then week.

IMX has really good after sales, since you are from Karachi. If you want stuff locally go to Techno City at II Chundigar Road, you'll get EVERYTHING there

Gigabyte mobos are great. Many people are using them here on PG. Get the board from EaseTec, KHI. They are official distributors and claiming warranty won't be a problem.
If you like asus you can get asus p8h61 mlx. To run ivy I think it needs a bios update (not sure about that)
or an asrock h61 (requires a update too) . The choice is yours.

Well I'm not questioning IMX credibility but shipping process is very awkward when you have to claim warranty. I prefer to purchase Motherboard from Karachi because I know one day I have to claim it's warranty. :D

Guys my plan was delayed when I originally posted this topic but now I want to buy a new computer so please suggest me again.

What motherboard, processor & ram should I buy? My budget is 25K.

And if I want to buy a Quad Core system(just motherboard, processor & ram), how much money I have to increase?
