So, this may be a lost cause but anyone joining me online in this game.

From personal experience so far, i know Fareed and anyone who appreciated KZ3 will love it.

Or am i going to be the lonely Brinker online.

Nobody will get this unless they know about the netcode. So until PSN comes back online, I don't think anybody will even think of getting it.

heh, the thing is i've been playing the game pretty much all day for the past 48 hours. Thanks to mid semester break.

As you level classes up, the synergy goes up to phenomenal levels, i've been maining a medic and you pretty much need to run 2 - 4 characters to level up all classes. Levels cap at 20 and that's 20 skill points. Out of 20 you need 18 to max the general abilities and the class abilities. Dumping a few points here and there.

I finally got some damn use out of the bots by constantly pumping thier health. A medic can revive, heal, self heal, buff health, buff health regen, buff speed, his level 20 skill is an AOE grenade to heal teammates. I stay with the squad and keep pumping health and reviving constantly. This is how i've been able to ensure that my bots outlast enemy bots. Similarily other classes have extreme utility. Every class has use and purpose in a map, soldiers are the demolitions experts with immense crowd control skills and tanking ability. Operatives are provide recon, intel, hack enemy equipment and can capture command nodes, hackers can also install firewalls on defending objectives to increase capture time for enemies. Engineers can provide turrets, repair, set mines and boost the buffs of command nodes, they also provide kevlar and increase gun damage buffs for allies.

The more i play, the more i love. Nothing more satisfying than knowing your constant support helped achieve mission success. Plus the abilities are mapped to directional buttons and can be executed seamlessly without breaking momentum or causing pauses. This truly enables people to keep using thier skills in the middle of fights, not to mention the smart movement allows traversal on maps in ways that no place is truly locked or camped out.

The game has amazing potential if the netcode is stable and i'm pretty sure that it'll develop a cult following, alot of people on forums really love the game. This should keep the KDR, run and gun Abuses will lead to bans from COD away, considering that kills are of no consequence in the game. I only kill enemies that i come across on the way to objectives, i have so far never bothered going around looking for enemies to get kills, it gives shit XP and destroys the game.

That sounds a lot like what makes TF2 so awesome.
Objective oriented team based gameplay.

I'll give PC version a go and see if it cuts it for me.

I mean i've been waiting to play a game where my performance wasn't judged by my camping and getting kills.

I'd rather showoff by thinking dynamically and sabotaging an enemy shortcut to save the team objective under heavy fire

Fuck it; I'll buy it wherever I see a copy, PSN be damned. I wanted to get it on XBL but it's region locked so I can't order from PlayAsia.

Who were you going to play with anyways on XBL? Always the lone wolf :p
Hah! Well, Live and it's magic pixie dust online made me think about it. I was guessing more people will it get it on the X360, you know, with PSN being down when the game was released.

I hope it doesn't lag too much. By the looks of it you might be the only person on my friend's list whose gonna be playing it.

i have but the patch's already out and the devs are working on another patch to improve the netcode even more.

Lag's getting mixed reviews, some claim it doesnt lag at and others claim it's a lag infested hellhole.

A launch day patch failed to make Brink lag-free on consoles as frustrated gamers continue to stutter their way through online battles. Bethesda and Splash Damage say more updates are on the way to fix the problem, and as an apology, the publisher and developer plan to make the first DLC pack free.

As Brink fans await the patches, Splash Damage has created a workaround in the form of a configuration change for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players. Freeplay multiplayer matches will now automatically be set to 8-player (4v4) games. Full, 16-player matches will still be available, but to enter an 8v8 game, it must be selected via a new Big Teams setting in the Brink menu."This new configuration will allow those connecting to and hosting matches (particularly those with lower upstream bandwidth) to more reliably find and connect to quality hosts via the match-making process -- resulting in less lag and more fun," Bethesda and Splash Damage stated on the official Bethesda Blog.

To make up for the rough start, the publisher and developer said the first DLC for Brink -- set to launch in June featuring new maps and additional content -- will be free. Further info on the patches and DLC will be announced soon.

Online session is enabled for UBL. I have an active subscription with my NayaPay card (it is already added to Google Payment Methods).

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

  • Aciel Aciel:
I tried both NayaPay, and UBL, but I keep getting "correct country selected..." error. I already have PK set there 🤦‍♂️

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!
