When you apply server password, it becomes unranked. No matter what you do, this rule is predefined in server settings.

After playing one match yesterday, everyone basically scooted

Then we tried joining different servers and started playing in the same squad, but we kept getting based raped in all the ones that we joined. So it wasn't as much fun as before.
