Even when living in middle East, the ping is sh*t. There was a time when I was getting just 19-20ms or less ... But now it's always above 100. I'm sure the situation will be no different in Pakistan.

[h=1]Battlefield 1 getting female soldier class in next expansion[/h]
[h=2]Meet the Russian Scout[/h]
attlefield 1 developer EA DICE will add a female soldier to the game’s multiplayer component in its upcoming expansion, the studio announced yesterday.
In the Name of the Tsar, which will be the second expansion for Battlefield 1, is set to be released this summer. It will focus on the Russian Army and, like March’s They Shall Not Pass add-on, it will bring a new class into the multiplayer shooter: the Russian Scout. As you can see in the artwork above, the introduction of the Russian Scout class will also mark the debut of playable female soldiers in Battlefield 1 multiplayer. “The Women’s Battalion of Death is represented by the Russian Scout class,” the Battlefield Twitter account said yesterday.
For anyone not in the know — including the folks on Twitter complaining that EA DICE isn’t being “historically accurate” with this addition — the 1st Russian Women’s Battalion of Death was a real-life unit during World War I. Formed in May 1917, a few months after the February Revolution, the group of about 300 soldiers was led by Maria Leontevna “Yashka” Bochkareva. (Asked if the Russian Scout class is specifically meant to represent Yashka, an EA representative said on Twitter, “We’re leaving this all at tease levels for now,” along with a winking emoji.)
With buzzcuts and men’s uniforms, the soldiers of this Battalion of Death — which was one of at least four Russian Army battalions that consisted of women — fought valiantly in the Kerensky Offensive of July 1917 on the war’s Western Front. The women led a Russian advance into German territory and took approximately 200 prisoners, but the fighters were later forced to retreat when reinforcements failed to materialize. The upcoming addition of the female Russian Scout to Battlefield 1 is something of an about-face from EA. One of the game’s five single-player campaigns features a fictional female protagonist, a Bedouin rebel named Zara Ghufran. In an interview conducted prior to E3 2016, Battlefield 1 creative director Lars Gustavsson told Eurogamer that no female soldiers would exist in multiplayer, although he could have been referring only to the content that would be playable at launch. “So glad you’re excited! We certainly are,” said Dan Mitre, global manager for community engagement at EA, in a response to a woman on Twitter who expressed enthusiasm about the announcement. “The community has been asking for a playable female character for a while now.”
Battlefield 1 getting new 5v5 competitive mode, Incursions
New team-based competitive mode goes into alpha next month
While spectacular, 64-player battles are a hallmark of the Battlefield franchise, a new mode for Battlefield 1 will focus on war at a much smaller scale. That new mode, Incursions, will introduce 5v5 battles to Battlefield 1 starting in September and is “optimized for competition,” EA said. Electronic Arts and DICE announced Battlefield 1 Incursions at Gamescom 2017 today. The mode will be a competitive, team-based battle featuring infantry and vehicles. Players will be able to choose from one of eight character kits (Trench Surgeon, Control Leader, AT Assault, Battle Mechanic, Mortar Support, Raid Leader, Shock Assault, Proximity Recon) in Incursions mode. A closed alpha test for Battlefield 1 Incursions will go live in September. EA said that players can sign up to take part in the closed alpha on the official Battlefield website. Incursions’ alpha will be played on a modified version of Battlefield 1’s Giant’s Shadow map. Players will “rank up to gain access to improved weapons and abilities based on a combination of time and performance.” EA also announced Battlefield 1 Revolution, which it called “the complete Battlefield 1experience.” The package will collect the base game and its four expansions: They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides and Apocalypse. Battlefield 1 Revolution is available now on PlayStation 4, Windows PC via Origin and Xbox One. Here’s a look at what’s included:
[h=1]Battlefield 1’s first DLC is free on Xbox and PC[/h] [h=2]Pick up ‘They Shall Not Pass’ before May 15[/h]
Battlefield 1’s first DLC expansion, “They Shall Not Pass,” is free to players on Xbox One and PC from today until May 15. This is not a trial period; download it, and it’s yours to keep. The price returns to $15 after May 15. “They Shall Not Pass” added four maps, the Trench Raider elite class, six unlockable weapons, two more Operations and the Frontlines mode. The DLC can be claimed on Xbox One through the Xbox Marketplace, and for PC through Origin. “They Shall Not Pass” was followed by three more extensions, ending with “Apocalypse” in February. EA DICE is now turning its attention to tuning and balancing the game long term, but in June will bring a new mode called Shock Operations. That will make five maps currently available only as premium DLC available to all players, but only in that mode. And here’s a friendly reminder to Battlefield 1 players that tomorrow is the last day tocollect 10 free Battlepacks containing weapon skins.
Phil keeps talking about breaking barriers to gaming, making it accessible on all platforms yada yada, while killing competition and creativity at the same time. the fact that i actually believed him for a second lol
Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.
if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

"These changes are not a reflection of the creativity and skill of the talented individuals at these teams or the risks they took to try new things" ... seems to me that's exactly what it is
So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. I just want to say a giant F*** Y**! to Microsoft. THEY'VE F***ED UP BIG TIME this time.
Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
