Christian Bale will always be the Ideal Batman/Bruce Wayne for me.

That being said, at this point, I'm neutral about Ben as Batman.

Its not Nolan who is making it, its not the Dark Knight trilogy continuation or anything as they are in the league of their own with its own Universe etc etc.

This is something else So if Ben is casted as the new Batman, it is OK by me. I don't like or hate this news.

You are generalizing a large pool of people into a single one. And Affleck being Batman isn't even the part of the problem. It's his history as a actor. He has never been a good actor and the only thing he is good at is Directing/Writing, for which he has also gotten an Oscar. So it is pretty terrible choice all around. It is as bad as Ryan Reynolds being cast for Green Latrine.

I say fuck DC if they stick with this decision. I have lost half of my interest in the movie already. I hope they take a second look at it and cast another suitable actor here. Like mentioned, Mathew Goode is a pretty good candidate here.
