I was quoted 50,000 by the helpline. However, I have done around 60,000 worth of shopping in the past month only. My annual fee was included in the bill for the month of march.

Can anybody suggest any Platinum card that is actually worth it? SCB, MCB, Allied..? From what I have read about them, they seem really to be geared towards people who travel a lot for their business. For others, they look like high premium cards that aren't any better than general use cards.

A question . Is Standard Charted Debit Card not working for International online purchases ?

I have been usind SC debit card for a long time for my online purchases but since the last month my card is being declined on all websites that i used to shop from ....... including steam .

Please confirm .

It seems that you are also in the same boat , yes debit cards of any bank does not work anymore , i contacted my bank Standard Chartered and they told me that to make the online banking and the information of the their clients more secure they have limited the potential of the debit card use , All the online merchants do a test transaction before charging the card for the actual amount for $1 and then refunds it , now the Pakistani banks are only allowing one transaction which is the test transaction of $1 but when then merchants asks for the actual amount our banks declines the request , that is why we see error messages as (your card has been declined) (CVV2 security code does not match) . It took great effort to get this information out from my bank , these banks all know the answer but i do not know for some reason they are very hesitant to share this info.

A credit card does not have this problem .

I have used my Meezan Bank debit card to pay University fees in Hong Kong. They charged 2.5% on total payment.

Spend 50k on shopping then call helpline to reverse the annual charges and it will be done.

I've subscribed to Prime Video/Twitch Prime once back in 2017 and the card worked fine but not anymore I guess. Now lite works fine on Amazon.com but not on primevideo.com at least for me.

All the credit cards would work but Debit cards should work too. Make sure internet session is active on your card.

I have activated session on my UBL and ABL debit cards but they dont work, would you know any other card which you are sure of?
