He isn't the credible person like he is being trusted so much may be he is writing true but he isn't credible
You aren't wrong. Certain people are good at aligning stars while presenting a certain agenda they may want to push. Declan Walsh might be one of those, but I doubt he would push this Axact agenda if he felt it was totally bullshit.

Anyway, we heard from people in this thread who have had direct or indirect experience with Axact. A win in a court of law might not necessarily change my opinion about them.

Apparently the CEO of Axact paid Rs. 26/- as income tax in 2014 alone. He joins the ranks of the most rich people in Pakistan who do the same. Putting millions in taxes on the poor population of pakistan. Shame!
Okay, Hold on a minute. Keeping aside the allegations on Axact, let's focus on this point. He paid Rs. 26/- as income tax, i think that's alright; read on.

What a lot of "Rich" people do, CEO's etc, they take minimal pay from their companies ( case in point: Steve jobs, he took 1$ as his pay ), what this means is that while their wealth is increasing, the fact that they have minimal pay means that the tax they have to pay is also minimal, this MAY be what this guy does, and a lot of other CEO's.

Less pay = Less income tax ( i think? )

Steve job had invested in several things, he was getting $1 as salary from Apple but he was not paying tax on $1 because his income from all sources he invested in was much more.

My wife worked there for 15 days. Yes, 15 days only which were the worst days of her life. She was specifically appointed in the education dept., which was the fake degree dept.

The sales person used to call the student/customer, and try to convince him to join the university. To make it more legit, he would tell the customer he is transferring call to one of the professors at the uni, which was a guy sitting near to him. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

She was in the training process when she realized what was going on, and immediately started applying elsewhere. Lucky she was, she got an offer elsewhere and took it immediately.

Then there was the environment, which was not suitable for any person from a good family since cursing and foul language was pretty normal.
Took me more than 1 year to get another job, your wife was lucky. I myself started searching job from 3rd day at Axact when I found out what they were up to. All of these face of bolwalas and axactians and the old employees who are dfending Axact I will tell you why they are

- Current ones who are fiercely defensive have so many years vested in this place they will not find a job easily anywhere else and maybe if they do it will be 25% of what they earn now, except they could be employed by small competitors such as salsoft, etc. After this incident no HR personnel will be interested in a Axact employee in the real world. I can tell you why this will be so because every other HR person in the market I spoke to back in my job hunting days had a notion about Axact which was half wrong but half true. But the common factor was all of the HR people I spoke to they were suspicious of Axact.

- Ex-employees who have gotten good jobs out of Pakistan now stand to loose their reputation in front of their current employers and these are again the ones with 2-5 years experience of Axact at the very least, they graduated and joined Axact (since no one would pay these loosers above market salary anyways - if it's too good to be true it probably is)

Now I have these both kinds of employees on my FB, and the desperation they are doing this defense with is so funny that its nearly laughable. Leave that alone I know Declan has even been getting testimonies from some current employees and some ex employees who know don't give a rat's arse about Axact. Basically I can tell you in a PPP jalsa you have Zardari speaking and the PPP workers or jiyalas chanting? These bolwalas and axactians are 100% same! Both know their leader is an A hole and a thief lying through his nose.

true that about defending , since the scandal has broken , i see my two friends constantly posting things in defence of Axact on their FB ,one is an employee(IT Dept) i uderstand he must be orderd by the company to post every post defending axact or BOl the other one i will laugh on him as his brother is in axact(Quality Assuarance) , he is even posting things of likes of Waqar Zaka and Mubashir luqman , who he once told me he hated most , specially luqman cause of his PTI stuff and my friend is of PML N die hard supporter , now he is sharing posts of Luqman where luqman is defending Axact

As if he didn't know about their shady business before. Every axact/bol employee knows about them, even my internee friend knew about their lawyer/cases business...
Goes to show their level of 'investigative journalism'. Although it is arguable that Bol and Axact are separate entities and as such Bol's employees might have been in the dark regarding the parent company's shady dealings.

Still, their profession demanded of them to know. Resultantly the anchors' credibility has taken a severe hit.

I guess he knew about Axact like we all did in past rumors etc ( i also felt all allegations as rumors until their employee who was a acquaintance of mine a merely class fellow in MBA program with me told right on my face confirming the businesses of axact last year ), as no ex employee or any article in big papers used to publish this stuff so he might have thought it as a rumor himself he can't get into the Axact office and monitor such stuff plus no body can and the axactians are payed so well no one would try to double cross and speak to a journalist unless ur a former employee and its hard to track down former employee cause most of the former usually move abroad , and the whole coolaid sold by Mr Shoaib Con man might have persuaded him also Lots of paisa being offered who doesn't like paisa

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
