i just saw this and apparently this meet up never happened. i would love to meet up with anime fans here. i love anime but don't know many people who like anime as much as me.

i say meet up and discuss particulars of the fair.
i say a small fair in a shopping mall. advertising various animes. i don't get anything from this but i hate it how people are soo into into idiotic tv shows which don't even make half sense. i'm willing to distribute anime dvds for free or just at the cost of the dvd.

An anime meet up would be quite pointless. We can find out more about anime through the internet.
A fair is difficult to organize. However, a group called Metal Seinen (I'm sure some of us have heard the name) organizes an anime fair each year. This year, there was a Jap Fest in March, organized by them and the Japanese Consulate. Now, Metal Seinen works with the Japanese Consulate to organize such things. Right now, they're trying to organize another proper fest for next year, in February.

I'm already a member of their forums, so they can listen to my suggestions and all. I recommend that all of us join their forums to show that there are anime fans who are interested in such an event, as many of us did not know of the previous one.

Metal Seinen Forums: Creative Venture & Creative Communities

I'm sure if we all join that and work together, we can make a proper fest happen.

I just finished watching an anime series. Its been a while since I watched anime and after finishing Clannad right now. I feel like continuing to watch more and more anime.
I hope the event gets organized soon. I would definitely love to attend an anime - fair :D

Nope. They have a very valid case. The above video explains it all.

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

Phil should be held responsible for this shitfest too, just like Sarah, but it's highly likely that these decisions are coming from Satya. And this isn't even the end of it. More closures are coming.

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.

They could've sold the studios instead of closing them, but the nazi bastards just didn't want competition down the road.
