Also, I never said that iPhone is better than "X". I said it is more desirable than many other phones out there. The desire created by Apple is not an easy job.

I'm also waiting for that 9/10 people claim. As i said earlier i do own Apple stuff too and i know better than you when it comes to business perspective (judging by the looks of your claims and comments). Apple is always overpriced and they will fail eventually just because android is not 'caging' you even if you spend half price for a better device (versatility, customization and the list goes on). Lol my iphone4's standby time is now 16-20hours and it's just been 7months (can anybody help me out changing the battery without screwing the warranty stuff and no i can't afford to send it back to the US)

I personally dont like apple and I hated my macbook, but I love my iphone. It is the best phone I ever had, and I did have an android phone( galaxy S). Apple has done a fantastic job with the iphone.

Iphones and Ipads , these 2 product lines are the soul reason for Apple's massive growth , its just a matter of time when Google will take the top spot once again .

And Apple may be the most valuable brand this year , but when it comes to the best company to work for , Apple is no way near Google , actually miles away , Google ranks 4th in the world in Fortune 100 best companies to work for and has been holding this rank since 2008 before dropping to 4th spot from 1st in 2007.

Okay, maybe alot of people are walking with iPhone 2G's and 3G's which are relatively cheaper. Its like a person driving around in a Porsche Boxster, which is alot cheaper than any other Porsche. But still Porsche is Porsche. Do you get my drift? lol.

Indeed true. When i sold my 3gs and went for Desire HD, every one in my workplace asked me why i took such a bad decesion. The iPhone has become really a symbol of status. Besides, i dont see a point that why some people are anti-Iphone....... I mean every cell has its pros and cons, The best thing i found in iphone was no of apps, more support, all the cracks are found, and installing games is just a piece of cake.
Iphone: Search the game on trckr site, download and install.
Android: Search the game in mobilism or even the budding "trckr similar sites". Search for the data. If you dont find for your phone, then have the WiFi connection, which means 800mb of data(asphalt adrenaline) will have to be downloaded directly through WiFi, and after downloading data, you come to know"Oh no it was not appropriate crack, you cant multilayer....."

and the development is based On DOTNET and its easier to code thats what i heard so this is the reason you seeing loads of apps in it and where as in symbian its pretty hard to workarround

And you all took my 9/10 people claim seriously (as in a source)? No, I don't have a source except my experience. I mean, all the people I know that ever wanted to buy a new phone always were like they want an iPhone, but usually cannot afford the contract and stuff. But their first choice was an iPhone. Everyone considers an iPhone. Alot of people (not all, but many) that cannot afford it look for reasons why it sucks just to make themselves feel better.

Put an iPhone 4 and a equal (or very similar) android phone side by side. Not only will people recognize the iPhone first, but will surely choose it over the android (Again, not everyone but the majority.) Other phones have the advantage of price, which is why the many people choose it over the iPhone.

When someone takes an iPhone out, people look. People ask and comment. This has happened to me everytime I take the iPhone out (Not bragging) just trying to prove that it is a status symbol.

You may know better than me. Yes, Apple is overpriced. My claims? Yea, I pulled one (9/10 ppl) out of my ass. But that age group thing is true. They will fail eventually? Well eventually the world will end, but will it fail eventually as in 20 years? Hell no! Apple is not some penny stock company. People are buying shares, not selling, even in a recession. Your so-called business expertise fails here, because for Apple to fail (as in bankrupt) it will require a whole new recession (like the 2008 one) + Steve Jobs retirement, and even then I doubt it will fail. If I remember correctly:

I think the cash reserve has increased to 80 billion, but I am not sure. So they will not fail, maybe toppled by Google? Sure, I don't doubt it. Fail? No. Plus, they barely have any debt when compared to their assets and earnings.

You see, Apple has created a name. A premium name, but a reputation nonetheless. Like Nike, Gucci, Lamborghini etc. Android has yet to do that.

As for your argument, Apple has a name, much bigger than Android, but that doesn't make Apple better than Android. If somebody buys an iPhone just because its the "new fashion" or to impress people than God help him/her I'd rather buy something I LIKE rather than something to impress people with. And to be fair, everytime I take my Desire out, people still LOOK, its not as if everyone is an iPhone Abuses will lead to ban.

That is what matters in the end, get what you like. I switched my iPhone with an HTC one (I don't remember its name, but it was pretty new) for a just some days, and I figured out quickly that I can't live w/o my iPhone. I love it.

only iphone 4 is FINE and i mean its Just fine becoz the only apple phone which has multitasking and all previous just sux even i can do multitasking on old cheap symbian phone

I can't believe you guys buy into this "premium brand" and iPhone has an "image" bullshit. This is Pakistan where most people can't afford a Nokia 5800 so obviously people will go goo goo gaga over the new shiny toy from "that" company that makes expensive products. Go to USA and you'll see taxi drivers using iPhone 4. The last thing that I will ever use to create my opinion of something is what people in Pakistan think of it.
The best example of what I'm talking about is right in this thread where the user "wqr hsn" is complaining about Android because he was too cheap to buy an app and couldnt find a working crack for it. You buy a 50k phone and then complain it doesnt have cracked apps. And FYI, Android has cracked apps and its easier to install them compared to iPhone.
