[SOLVED] Android phone under 25k

Someone from my family asked me about advice regarding a cellphone. since i am a neanderthal when it comes to phones hence i rely on you guys for finding best phone in this range. Their use would be mediocre like social networking, your mainstream games and camera although nothing too serious. Sleek-ish look is mandatory.

I have samsung J series in my mind. Kindly suggest phones which are locally available, no online orders.

P.S. We won't hesitate to spend a buck or 2 for a better product.

J series seem good, however the J5 is still expensive for the kind of specs that it comes with. If you can get one for less than 21k, then it's fine, otherwise don't bother.

Then there's the Huwaei P8 Lite, which will be replaced by the coming soon P9 Lite, however the P8 is on sale with official warranty, for about 20k I think, that's a pretty good phone.

We don't feel like going for brands like huawei so i guess J5 is the only option in our range, that is locally available for about 20k or so.

Did you get warranty with it? Whats the difference between a warranty and non-warranty phone? The warranty available at the market is international or local? and whats the difference between these two? I am confused?

P.S I liked J7 more than J5. Its kind of dull as compared to J7 plus its slim with a better camera.

Warranty phones come with Accidental Coverage+ where they will repair your phone free of cost if something goes wrong or you break the screen.
Non-warranty models are just like any other phones, if you break the screen or you need a repair, you'll have to pay yourself.

J7 is a good phone, however the 2016 model was launched a few days ago. Wait for it to arrive in Pakistan.

J7 is a good phone, however the 2016 model was launched a few days ago. Wait for it to arrive in Pakistan.

I know about the warranty. I wanna know if its okay to buy a non warranty phone as they are cheaper than warranty ones. I mean, why are they selling phones without warranty? are these affected ones or does it have high probability of being faulty? Also mention if the warranty given is samsung official warranty.

Samsung themselves obviously aren't selling non warranty devices.
They're just sold in local shops.

The thing is, the officially sold Galaxy J7 is SM-J700H. 3G only. Official warranty.

Then there's the ones without warranty.
Imported from UK or UAE. Also brand new but the warranties can only be claimed in the country of Origin.
Those ones are SM-J700F. With LTE support.

That's the only difference.
The probability of getting a faulty device is the same if you buy one with or without warranty.

we paid 17.5k for it and yes it came with the official greentech warranty which also covers accidental coverage.

The non warranty phones are i think smuggled phones from dubai and they all alright and you save some bucks.

If you are willing to buy used phones than try getting an LG G3 AT&T d850 model from local market. You will need to check it a bit thoroughly when buying and do that IMEI search on PTA website etc but you can get it around 15-16K. Maybe for 20-25K you can get a newish one with full accessories box packed on forum. It's an awesome phone waaaay better than most of the local brands like Qmobile, Rivo etc. Awesome camera QHD screen, good battery size, 3GB RAM 32GB memory, with SD card slot and local 4G bands support and awesome performance in android games to boot.

I was confused about the phone that are available with warranty and without warranty, asked the guy at the market. He answered that the non-warranty phones are like non custom paid cars, they are smuggled while the other one are your phones which came with warranty. In actual, these phones do come with warranty but couldn't be claimed here because there's ain't any warranty card.
