Intel May Be Pushing Out Another 14nm Processor in PCs Late This Year | Shacknews
There is CoffeeLake update coming this year at least this is what Intel said n it will also include quad core n hexcore 14nm for desktop n laptops. Intel is also releasing Canonlake may be next year (10nm) fab silicon for mobile computing. Intel already had a (canonlake under the wraps) demo unit in ces2017. But it all depends if AMD sustains it's lead. 2017 is an exciting year for upgrades especially for someone like me still using 3770k
AMD Vega and Ryzen will complete the process which new management started years ago. First time AMD used some sensible name for its processors (bulldozer, piledriver, steamroller n excavator) n first time Intel has named it's processor lineup like a cupcake
Times have changed and consumers will be really happy to see this change ...
Can't wait for NDA to lift (2nd March) ...
