Aisam ul Haq defeats Roger Federer!

Ok now don't get too excited it was in a doubles match and Fed only lost because of his partner.

. Aisam ul Haque of Pakistan and James Cerretani defeated ROGER FEDERER & Chiudinelli 6-4, 6-3 in the first round of ATP 500 tournament at Basel Switzerland.

Aisam and his partner came with excellent planning to give respect to Federer(Atleast initially) at and attack Chiudinelli the most.

In first set Last service of* Chiudinelli was broken. and in second set ROGER FEDERER serve was broken (Thanks to two winners of Aisam; directly fired on Federer serve).

Chiudinelli tried to create a small controversy during the match by pointing out to strange ritual of Cerretani during serve. (Cerretani is in habit of pushing his shirt just before serve). Roger Federer completely remained away from that controversy. Issue was raised to Chair umpire but he overruled that appeal from*Chiudinelli. But that issue do resulted in distracting Cerretani attention as he gave away next two points on serve.

After Match Federer and his partner Chiudinelli remained in the ground and waited in the ground for qureshi/cerretani to pack their bags. It was* great gesture and sports men ship form this great legendary player. And it was more than enough to wipe out the bad impression of negative tactic shown by Chiudinelli in the match.

It should be reminded that Roger Federer is current Olympic gold medalist in doubles.

Aisam & Cerretani will face current world number one pair of Nestor/Zimonjicin in second round (Quarter Final.)

wow, it dosent matter really if it was doubles or singles, this is a huge achievement.

pakistan is crossroads as far as sport is concerned, but this is really good news !!!!
