Had some good games against XRikudouX the other day. Guys some questions.....why does my rating show a C grade when playing online??? It pisses me off, it was A at first but later went to a C grade. Cause of this people don't play with me. I have the 3mb connection of Nayatel so my online play shouldn't be bad at all. Any help?
Also some of the DLC costumes look awesome. I was wondering if there's some way to get em, you know without paying? I have the PC version but there's no mod that unlocks em I think. Also is it possible to download em and play on a jtagged 360?

I did not know that , well played some games with jawad and asad last night after a session of Mvc. Getting bored of ssf4 now that is why i have turned my attention to MVC code name Mashing Vakhee Cadeee 3.

I have a new query to make guys and i hope stick users will help me out on this one as they usually do. First of all, how important are short cuts for inputs and do you guys use them? i have been told that DF, DF is a shortcut for shoryuken. let's say that i am blocking while crouching and the opponent jumps at me.
Should i let go of the stick and get it to neutral (middle) and then start a inputting commands for shoryuken? or is it wiser to input shoryuken commands while i am crouching? cuz i loose control of the player if i input commands while i am cruching?
You guys have probably have all these setups stored in your muscle memory, so my guess is that you guys don't even notice it. For a newbie like me, should i start every command from a netural point or it dosent matter? il try to explain it better.
I play akuma, and sometimes i am crouching and poking with lp, lp or mp, mp at the oppenent, since i am crouching while doing that i have to hold the stick downwards. From there i want to ex round kick (tatsu?) so i input DB,B since i already holding D. Now for me that tatsu wont come out. Well i don't use shortcuts they simply ruin your motion movement when you play other game but they can come quite handy sometimes. Well firstly i would suggest you practice how to quickly Dp with the F,DF-F motion for the shoryuken. Will give you a tip since i heard you always keep your stick in D motion while crouching i suggest you try doing it in the D/b position cos then your doing a combo and blocking as well. Works good when someone is doing random shit on you and you can just delay your combo and in turn block his random Shit because your holding the stick in D/B position.
Okh now for your question there is a other way to do Shoryuken while crouching. Doesnt matter if your holding the sitck in D/b or D motion .
First case if your holding the stick in D motion, slide the stick against the sides in the d/f motion then D and df again. Thus the game will regiser it as a df,df motion.
it would be something like this d,df,d,df punch. This may seem complicated but trust me with a hours practice you will be able to do it every single time.
Second case if your holding the stick in D/b motion.
The motion would be something like d/b , d,df,d,df punch for shoruken.

Short-cuts are, I think, important for some very high-level Option Selects (something you shouldn't worrying about ATM), and one more thing... The crouching DP!
What you've been told is incorrect. DF, DF won't work cause that's only two inputs, you need at least three. The regular DP motion is F, D, DF but in SFIV, you can get away with inputting any F, any D, and any F in that order. So you could do UF, DB, F and you would still get a Shoryuken (lol, if you can manage that insane motion)! That's just the formula for a short-cut though, the most used short-cut for the DP motion is DF, D, DF (AKA, the crouching DP). This is a good short-cut to use for anti-airing because while you're crouching, your hitbox is much lower than when you're standing so it's more difficult (not by much, but just a little ) for the opponent to hit you. Secondly, using this short-cut, you can make sure that you achieve full damage off of your anti-air DP, and do it all much more effectively. For example, if you hit the jumping opponent with Akuma's DP while he's at the top of his arc, you'll connect only one hit and it won't do much damage; there is also a high chance of you trading this way because most invincible moves have the majority of their invincibility around start-up, and this is true for Akuma's DP. In contrast, you can start crouching, wait for the opponent to be at the end of his jump arc, and then DP him. Since you were crouching, this will make it harder for him to hit your; since you waited for him to be at the end of his jump arc (where most people would execute their air attack and try to hit you), your DP will cleanly beat whatever attack your opponent will throw out because of the invincibility frames of your DP--which are at the start-up off your DP.Now you know why that short-cut is important, and why it's better to DP while crouching, but it is not essential. In most cases, even a standing DP will scores all hits and cleanly beat any air attacks if timed correctly. So it's good to practice both, really. I use short-cuts, but I try not to rely on them too much because then your execution can get fucked up for other fighting games. lol
As for your Cr.MP>Cr.MP xx EX Tatsu... IDK, man, that should work. That's how everyone does it, in fact. :s Maybe you're just doing the DB, B too slowly? Try speeding it up. It's good to practice all your combos that start off with crouching attacks starting with when you're in the D position, AND practice them starting while you're in the DB position. Because sometimes, you want to throw out some pokes right after blocking, and if you're playing Akuma and want to cancel those pokes with a Tatsu, then if you start off your pokes while you're holding DB (since you just got done blocking), you won't be able to get the LK Tatsu because it requires D, DB, B whereas in this case you'll only be able to pull off DB, D. Uhhh, get it? xD I hope I'm not complicating things for you. lol, just ask if you need any more clarification.
BTW, I notice you still haven't watched VesperArcade's tutorials despite most of us recommending them to you.
He actually goes over exactly what you've asked in one of his videos. xD Haha, you should watch them, man. Not to say that we don't love helping you out (we do ), it's just that you'll learn so much about the game that you didn't know before, and will have most of your questions answered because his explanations are very clear, in-depth, and concise.
on j-tag,u can download any costumes but u cant play online..u will get banned in a min..

It works bro i mean if your holding the stick in d/b motion so basically your blocking, if you can manage to slide the stick on the sides from d/b,d,df,d,df it will come out as a DP. The engine will register that as a d/f,d/f input. I just tried it in practice mode cos for a moment i thought i got it wrong but it works although i never do that motion . For me F,d,df seems more easy. do try it in practice mode the motion i just wrote and lemme know of course i can be wrong .
