billo use MP shoryuken as anti air it has 5 frames of Invincibility on startup in AE, so you wont trade, and no , dont teleport, use it only when the opponent is not expecting it, using it too much will result in you having shitty anti air game like i do now.

@Abbas: thanks bro. that was very well put and explained. Now i just have to do these options in a actual match, which can be tricky for beginner like me. But i think it will come with time, now since i know what Akuma do's and don't are.
@des: I didn't know all of akuma's wakeup options, so majority of the time i tried to focus out of it. Now i just have put all this to test and hopefully with practise i can be able do that.
Actually this is something which i could not even understand when i started off . The big question is " How to Block a Crossup" . Well for that of course you need the tools ( by that i mean Specials, FADCS, Teleports etc) but then again you need to get out of them with any particular move at the right moment. So your reactions will be tested against people who do a awful lot of jump in, Cross up etc. Keep playing the game and always try to analyze the space between you and your opponent . Try to anticipate if that will be a cross up or a front jump in attack.
Try it out in Training mode. Set the dummy to All Block and try to do cross ups on him so u can judge the eminent space between you and the dummy for a possible cross up.
Secondly set the dummy to record do some jump in attacks with the dummy. Try to block all of em while keeping a certain distance.
The reason behind in time with practice you can judge the space where you cross up is possible .
