    my personal experience with intel boards been excellent. im an admirer since first used their P-III supported boards. not a huge fan of 3rd party products though in some cases they are acceptable. Intel 975XBX board is fast and reliable. i've used this board not version II but plain XBX for 2 years and didn't had any issues what so ever.

    if you can either get 975XBX or 975XBXII both are good. you will be more than happy to get these ... as i've been in the past.

    Any mobo that is cheap... U know the ground reality that core 2 duo is getting nearly obsolete and even if the motherboard supports crossfire, u WILL not be crossfiring it anytime...
    So go with 975x... The cheapest option is the best cuz u dont ned to spend alot on a rig thats hardly worth 6-7k..

    The price difference between both will be minimal, hence its better to get the newer chipset i.e. G31.

    NO USE, because Vista also has DX11. Performance wise, Win7 is better than Visa in every way.

    Furthermore, Games often have the option where you can select the Direct X version, so i dont see a reason for your problem.

    not realy .... U can always select what direct X u wanna run at in new games... SO its not much of an issue..
    And its not advisable to limit urself to dx10. cuz those games needing X 11 wont run at all then... its always better to have a game run slow rather than not at all...

    windows doesnt have much influence on gaming... but Windows 7 is comparitively better cuz its light on ur system... Vista is pretty heavy so its better to use windows 7.

    So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios. I just want to say a giant F*** Y**! to Microsoft. THEY'VE F***ED UP BIG TIME this time.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
