    I would buy them for this price, but try to bring it down a bit further.

    The receiver looks pretty hot. Look around for critics and reviews on this baby, seems like a great purchase.

    I wish I could help out in this case, but I have very limited knowledge in this regard. You should ask Shyber. I believe he's got some good sound equipment, and should give you an informed opinion.

    I'll just say that the expensive home theaters that Sony/Samsung sell at official stores are usually not worth the extra money. You could most likely get the same quality from a Pioneer, Philips, Yamaha, or Onkyo HTS. That is, unless you want a good blu-ray player in the deal. In such a case, the 5.1 Sony HTS wouldn't be such a bad deal.

    Nothing too fancy though, they're marginally better than the Z-5500s but in lesser price.

    The receiver was decent, so I went ahead with it :D
    Receiver: Yamaha RX-V357
    Speakers: NS10-MMT
    Subwoofer: SW-P130 (Active Subwoofer ;) )

    MIGHT BE INFERIOR BROTHER -- but 8000 vs 8500 vs used and brand new ---no difference --- i rater go for new -- i am not in to those super speeds

    v100+ model ---u might be right but there has to be difference in price of new and used ...anyway ...enough of the arguments --how much is it used ---surely u used it -
