Yeah, that's quite strange. There's no indication of wear and tear to the port itself, since you always changed the other end of the HDMI cable. If I were to guess, it could've been a voltage fluctuation perhaps.
Okay, you'll need to check a few things. Firstly, is your laptop still working with the same HDMI port on the TV? If not, then there's definitely something wrong with the TV's port, because neither device is registering a signal.
If it works with the laptop, then there's something up with the X360's HDMI port. Or, something has messed up the HDMI handshaking between the X360 and your TV. It happens at times, and the problem usually resolves itself after a while.
Oh, yeah, Tales of Xillia is coming out @_@ It'll be out on torrents before release, right?
