    What are mister i-don't-even-have-a-gaf-account-yet-i-must-copy-paste's stipulations? Don't fall for it, I'm sure there will be plenty of hocus pocus involved. For what it's worth, he could make the video seem like the game's being played with a kb, whereas someone else will actually be controlling with a gamepad.

    Still American History X is an AAA film. Simply saying it sucked because of mis-understanding the ending is not justifiable :p.

    If not a 10/10 movie, it is 9.5/10 easily. It belongs to my top 10 movies along with American Beauty. :D

    Hmmm. That scene at the end explains it quite well. I wonder why they didn't put it in the full movie :S
    The ending would've made more sense that way.

    Fair enough explanation I guess. American History X was a special movie. I was bracing myself for an awesome ending but was disappointed. I still see no reason for murdering Danny.

    I mean Derek's murder would've been understandable in the context. Not his little brother's! It's not like he was murdered due to his elder brother's reputation for being a racist skinhead.

    True, it's wrong to stereotype. But I still stand by my earlier stance. The ending ruined the movie for me.
    The movie was always about racial tension. A black man shot dead their father, tried to take their car away and then shot the youngest son.

    Funnily enough, none of those attacks were connected. It just convinces me that the gist of the movie was making the negro community look bad to the audience.

    But Danny's murder at the end was over the top stuff. Shooting him only because he blew smoke in that black kids face? Doesn't click and pretty much ruined the ending for me.

    If anything, it only confirmed the fact that blacks are criminals and should be dealt as such which makes the rest of the movie pretty pointless. I read there's a deleted scene where Derrick is seen shaving his head at the end :p
