What the ? It isn't ugly . I like it more than my SAMSUNG LCD

its native 720p though, it does support 1080p but it will be stretched.

The native resolution is 1366 x 768 so the 1080p will be downscaled, not stretched. Either way there will be loss of picture quality.

Leh , who needs 1080p anyways ?
Anyways , I'll post the pics and see how you notice it stretched :p
Well no one needs 720p as well. And at the native res (1366x768), even 720p(1280x720) will be stretched, but that difference might be hardly noticeable. However the stretch from 720p to 1080p is VERY noticeable in person. Alot of people want 1080p, its not like its ahead of its time.

Nevertheless the Bravia engine is superb! Enjoy and post some pics soon.

I'm sure it won't InshAllah .

The table is placed in a corner and the Stand fits quite reasonably over it .

Besides , it's my own room , nobody gonna enter in it besides me , so I guess it's pretty much safe :p

Just warn your friends before you let em enter your room :wink2:

How are the built-in speakers? I believe the horizontally extended design is coz of the speakers on both sides of the screen, but can't be sure from the pics you posted.

Heh , yeah I will .

And yes , the horizontal speaker design is due to the speakers .

To be honest , they aren't as good as I expected them to be . I mean , they always sound as if they've been damped by something .

Can anybody please tell me how can I connect external speakers with that TV ?

@All : Thanks , and please post your own setup pics . I'm the only person trying to keep this thread alive :p
