Necrokiller your thoughts on this game??
I'm close to the end and I think it's amazing and From Software's best game. Its combination of challenging and fantastic combat, exploration and level design, fluid movement and traversal mechanics are rarely seen in action/adventure or character action games alike.

No point in discussing this when you failed to understand my point and constructed your own sentence by selectively choosing words from my post. Read my post again in its entirety and try again.

My point was to highlight that the comparison with character action games is an apples to oranges situation. Sekiro is just as much a character action game as Forza Horizon is a sim racer.

It fits the mold for me. I don't think it strictly needs to have a juggling or style rank system to be characterized as such. It heavily leans towards a melee action/hack n slash game which is basically what all 'character action' games are. All of these games have infinite stamina to boot lol

Take for instance how you expressed disappointment towards Devil May Cry 5's level design. My point was how Sekiro is an excellent blend of all the aspects I listed.

It comes down to how you define a character action game. For me, Sekiro is a hack and slash game with stealth mechanics, but it lacks the combat depth associated with character action games like DMC, Bayonetta, NG, MGR etc.

Yeah it's a term popularised by forumers. Developers still call it hack n slash :p

Start by getting a deathblow and use Blood Ninjitsu to take out as many as you can. The ones making rounds with other regular monks around them you can use the trees to get a deathblow on them. If you wait til the staff wielding monks walk closer to the other ones you can get them one by one with a similar strategy.

No it doesn't. Resurrecting does not spread dragonrot, only properly dying does.
Resurrection means two things in Sekiro:

1. Dying on the battlefield and pressing a button to resurrect where you fell
2. Dying on the battlefield and resurrecting at a Sculptor’s Idol

Both are forms of resurrection, and both have the same consequence. It doesn’t matter how or where you resurrect. Both build up an invisible meter that, at a certain threshold, lead to Rot Essence and Dragonrot. The more you resurrect, the greater you chances of receiving Rot Essence are. So if you resurrect on the battlefield a lot, you’ll get Rot Essence faster.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the most popular Steam launch of 2019

Not only has the game sold well on PC, it’s tracking at around 125,000 concurrent users on Steam – which makes it the biggest launch of any game on Steam this year so far.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has become the third most-popular Japanese launch ever on Steam. Devil May Cry 5 is the fifth, after Metal Gear Solid 5. Monster Hunter World is top, with around 227,644 concurrent players at its peak after launch – and From Software’s own Dark Souls III stands as the second most-popular Japanese Steam launch.
Ahead of RE2 remake and DMC 5 this year which were both Denuvo games. Well deserved From Software.

Sekiro: Accessibility in Games is About Far More than 'Difficulty'

And accessibility – my focus as a consultant on games, working with AAA developers like Guerrilla to Indies like Gambrinous – is an area of game design that’s often deeply misunderstood; it’s about barriers, not difficulty.
Pretty much all of the QoL improvements and existing settings lower the ‘difficulty’ for me, making Sekiro both more accessible and approachable (yes, they’re different, too). I could say the same thing about how much more forgiving the game design in Sekiro is, from timing to controls and the multiple possible play styles (stealth, charging, finesse, parrying, bashing). The fact that if I’m early for a parry most of the time that becomes a block is huge for me because I’m often way too early.
Straight from a UX consultant on games. The 2nd quote is almost exactly what PowerPyx had stated in his guide lol.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!
