So im really confused as to what phone to get these days and I really need one urgently. I wanted to know what you people thought out of the 3 following options. I know Huawei p9 lite isnt a competitor to the s7. I thought if I cant get a phone I like I might as well stick it out with a p9 lite for a while before changing to something new that comes along.

1. Samsung s7 (future proofing)
2. Oneplus 3. (future proofing)
3. Huawei p9 lite (temporary fix for a while)

People if you have suggestive phone please post prices as well.

Thank you.

If u r into custom roms and recoveries then go for oneplus 3 as community support is great (xda) also oneplus officially support rooting etc so no warranty woid but if u r average person who just like to use phone normally then go for gs7 edge

thanks for the response im grateful. sadly im one of those average people that are not into custom roms but im getting inquisitive. Im just hessitant because I feel I will mess up the phone if I play around with roms.

I see that you have a one plus 3 congratulations. If you dont mind can you please share where you bought it from? the price right now (from a google search reveals) is around 52000 rupees from telemart.pk.

1) I bought a Galaxy S7 a few days ago. Didn't like it at all. Was the biggest waste of money. Glad a relative bought it off me. Decent looks are the only thing it has going for it. TouchWiz hasn't improved one bit, so RAM management and Battery life are still horrible. It's still on the August security patch. Speakers suck. Fingerprint scanner isn't the greatest, goes wrong quite a lot. Not worth the money tbh.

2) OnePlus 3. If I could get one, I would. I really would. I bought my 6P before it was launched though. I've heard great things about the OP3. Not just tech reviews, I mean real life opinions and you should see what people have to say on Twitter. This really was OnePlus' big break and they've really nailed it with this. It's a fantastic phone and it will most definitely be the most future proof. Grab one if you can and you won't regret it. You don't have to mess around with ROMs if you don't want to.

3) Huwaeis are great. Very quick fingerprint scanners, good design, fast charging, all the good stuff. However, there software needs work, a lot of work. And since you're not into ROMs, you won't be able to change anything. Poor resale is also a major issue, so this isn't a great phone if you're keeping it as a temporary fix since you'd lose a lot of money.

I have heard great things about the oneplus 3 too and am leaning towards it! :) I am use to Samsung phones and dont actually mind the Touchwiz software. Tough decision cause I like to use my phones for a couple of years before ditching them. Not really into selling phones but if I got a huawei (any model) I would definitely sell it after a while.

I cant believe how tiring this process of getting a mobile phone is turning out to be. Time to do a bit more research. thank you. :)

murtaza12 ive done some more research. oneplus 3 is averaging around 53000 rupees no warranty. quite a few people have pointed out that its signal reception 4g or wifi is poor. Samsung S7 goes for 58000 from market and 62000 from distributors. oneplus is quite expensive in pakistan. still confused.

Most of the OP3 issues are being fixed with very quick software updates. Signal and camera issues are long gone.

S7 was (and still is) ridiculously priced here and not worth 58k. Don't make the same mistake I did and buy it. It's actually a very crappy phone.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
