If you're talking about the OP3, it has no warranty in Pakistan anyway, only Samsung does. And you can't get the S7 without warranty, so you have no choice.

iShopping gets their phones from the Middle East and Singapore so it'll most definitely be the A3003.
Send them an email to confirm.

Anyone selling the S7 for below 55k doesn't have warranty. Anything around 55 means it DOES HAVE warranty.

So im really confused as to what phone to get these days and I really need one urgently. I wanted to know what you people thought out of the 3 following options. I know Huawei p9 lite isnt a competitor to the s7. I thought if I cant get a phone I like I might as well stick it out with a p9 lite for a while before changing to something new that comes along.

1. Samsung s7 (future proofing)
2. Oneplus 3. (future proofing)
3. Huawei p9 lite (temporary fix for a while)

People if you have suggestive phone please post prices as well.

My advice is to visit the markets and check these smartphones yourself. Then buy which you liked most.

You will find many smartphones on display in Metro for example. You can test them free of cost there.

You will get largely subjective advices here. Some of them utter nonsense. They will confuse you even more.

Too late now, Samsung's priorities are elsewhere, if you get a Note 5, expect to be stuck on Marshmallow for a long long time.
Note 5 is a great, very capable device, however Samsung's way of treating one generation older devices is pure evil.

I called ishopping.pk at they said they only stock the OP3 varient A3000 not the A3003. A3000 is made for China and has relatively fewer Lte bands than the A3003, which is pain in the a$$.

Now tossing between Note 5 which is 56000 for 32gb and 59000 ish for the 64 gb varient/ and if to still get the OP3 which is only available in A3000. Life sucks doesnt it.

Ishopping.pk also has confirmed their phones either come from UAE or North America.

It will, but probably next year. Like I said, Samsungs main priorities are the S7 and S7 edge right now, last years devices will get the N update next year.

Thanks. now that the OP3 turned out to be A3000 which lacks Lte band 3 1800mhz (most probably ishopping.pk is getting them from North America, UAE would have been A3003). I have decided not to buy it.

with all the problems S7 users are facing I am thinking of going with the note 5. If you were to pick between the note 5 and s7 which were you to pick? can afford s7 edge but dont want to spend that much money. Not into buying used phones either.

Im not an apple fan its just that I dont like their phones. I have nothing against the company.

I'd still look out for an A3003 OnePlus 3.

Note 5 is too old and S7 sucks.

What did I tell you in my first response in this thread?

Just buy a smartphone that appeals most to you. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a fantastic smartphone. And Android Marshmallow is a stable and user-friendly OS. It should be enough.

I am using Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and I find it absolutely satisfactory for my needs. Now, my needs include extensive gaming sessions, not just FB and Whatsapp.

So if a mid-range Samsung smartphone is that good, Galaxy Note 5 should be more than enough to satisfy any user.

Otherwise, import is an option.

The fingerprint scanner on my S6 works perfectly in 1 touch and registers every time you need some time once you get the device to get used to the scanner but once you do it works in 1 click so S7 should work well.

Fingerprint scanners are inconsistent IMO, my 6P one works great, but I've heard of people who say this one doesn't unlock the first time either.

Carrier versions are a pain when it comes to updates since AT&T and T-Mobile take forever to release updates, but if one chooses a Sprint or Verizon variant, you'll be stuck with CDMA hardware, fucked up band priority and a locked bootloader.

well then it's subjective you can't blame S7 for a bad fingerprint scanner works great for me if you are saying that S6 has the same one.

saving 10-15k for late updates (in AT&T and T-Mobile case) i don't mind that everyone has their own priorities anyway, and yea i agree on you on 1 point don't ever get a Sprint Variant It sucks.

buy somehow 4G is working from all carriers here on Verizon so why don't get it.

you can get note 5 and s7 for 38~45k Note 5 lesser priced then S7 (carrier version) if you want don't want to spend that much.

or you can go full burger and get iPhone 7 its great, you will like it.
