Visa vs MasterCard - silver credit card

I want to ask about UBL Wiz Cards, Particularly about Wiz Internet/Traveler and ACCA Wiz Card. Approx 2 or 3 years ago, their service was extremely crappy. Especially when ACCA's annual subscription, or exam fee was due. The amount would deduct from your account but would never reach the intended location.

I want to ask, Is it improved now? Or still the same thing?

I am basically looking for a card which should have:
- Zero yearly charges (As i do very occasional online transactions).
- Should be Debit, VISA and should work everywhere on inter webz.
- Should have minimal online transaction charges.

Basically, i don't want a liability. I especially don't want a bank account, and would prefer to have a Debit Card without one. I don't want something which constantly reminds me to 'do something or its costing you without doing anything'.

I have only tried Standard Charted's Debit Card and while i am okay with its 6% Transaction charges, i hate the 'yearly charges' on it.

Hello everyone,

I will be getting a Cheque from US soon so i want to ask that can i deposit it in my PKR account of Bank Alfalah or MCB ? or i will have to open a separate Dollar account for the transaction ?​

JS bank. They do have a small (Rs200) yearly charge for internet services on their debit cards. They charge 3% on foreign transaction which is less than SCB when buying in USD and much less when using other currencies. They also have chip and pin cards which are safer (at least in theory until more shops stop swiping). CS is top notch. However, their network is smaller compared to other more established banks. I don't think they have 3D secure though--only MCB Lite and Aflalah (mastercard credit) do AFAIK.

I received mcb lite pack yesterday and visited mcb lite enabled/litized branch today but the manager said that they are not authorized for it and they don't know about this feature, how to get my lite card activated? is there any branch that knows about mcb lite or the branch you visited and activated your card in Karachi please tell me.

Well strange though you can activate it by depositing min amount pkr1000 n it can be done on any mcb lite supported branch you can goto website to check which branch supports mcb lite

The branch I went to is MCB lite supported I checked on website, do I deposit by telling them I want to deposit to MCB lite or just fill out deposit slip also have to use mobile number in place of account number?

just go to mehdi tower branch at shahe faisal near smchs. they will activate it

Activated my lite card at mehdi tower branch but couldn't deposit money because the system were down at that time, will it work if I transfer money from ubl to mcb lite through IBFT?

Is there any "activate internet session" thing in mcb lite card? or its always activated.

To everyone who owns MCB Lite Card, have the deducted their yearly fees on your card yet? And if so, how much is the amount?

I ask because since my first year of owning the card was over, I kept about Rs 1,400 in the card so that they can deduct the fees. But they didn't for months. When I checked my statements today, it turns out they deducted only Rs 258 a couple of days back as subscription fees. Did something like this happened to any of you?

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
