Yeah it's not that slow but that's what I found at least during my testing. And it was just a quickie.[MENTION=32279]Baghi[/MENTION]! I don't think FDM is that slow :S There must be some problem. Plus, a 60 second test isn't really a test but anyway ... might help those looking for a difference

Using it from the last 2 weeks. I am really satisfied with it's performance, speed and ability to capture videos from different websites.
i have replaced my IDM with this. but my reason is that IDM isnt free and EagleGet is. Nonetheless EagleGet performs exceptionally well.
well written but unfortunately gives much less speeds than idm.
IDM was Giving 450KB/s and EG Was Giving 256-310KB/s

The download managers, almost all of them have same capability of downloading rate, that depends on many factors, like servers, your own bandwidth, what made idm stand apart was its exceptional resume capacity, while downloading large files from some less known servers, fdm usually crapped me at 80-90% and i had to restart the downloads, but this never happened with idm, i suppose this is the main difference between a paid product and free
Give a try to EagleGet. I am using it since many months and fully satisfied.
