one night I was sleeping and I suddenly woke up, to my horror I was unable to move my body, not even a finger, i tried my best but I couldnt, then I felt something is standing right next to me, I was still trying hard to move but i couldnt, then slowly that thing came and sat on my chest, i can feel the weight of it, i tried to scream I couldnt, i tried to move I couldnt, i started reciting Kalma Tayabba and Ayat-ul-Kursi, but I wanted to open my mouth and recite at the top of my voice, but I was unable to open my mouth!! Then finally I came to my senses, I was sweating like anything, my breath was so fast it felt i just ran a marathon!!

Well that was actually Sleep Paralysis that I experienced for the first time!! Damn that was horrific, it happens because of lack of sleep and tension! As I was having my final exams and was just sleeping for 3 hours a day!! I dont wanna experience it again! :crying:

so keep in mind before you read, I'm from a strict religious family but I don't believe in these things.

This crazy thing happened to me about 4 months ago, --as said above in spoiler-- I was sleeping alone in my room. It was about 10:28PM I felt something moving on my right wrist (like furr, cloth or maybe hairs) then I woke up heard someone calling my name --there was no electricity. just my laptop was on and screen was liting up whole room-- saw something standing and shaking on right side of my "char-payi". i thought it is my mind doing tricks with me. then I turned on my torch... and it was still there standing 6 feet tall, black shawl all around him/her (him or her still don't know), white hairs, oval shaped face.

my exact reaction was "wtf man," I jumped from char-payi, tried to catch him/her in my arms *than suddenly it disappeared* I shouted aloud "F%#@ing hell".
no one heard me shouting everyone was sleeping like bears--I know I watch too much english movies and i always swear in english barely said word BC).

after 4 days met my dad and told him everything. he said he'll take care of everything don't take it seriously.

so I told you guys everything never even told my cousins or friends because I don't want them to think that I am mediocre or coward.

EDIT: forgot to write: when I switched on my torch this thing was eating or maybe reading something... I tried really hard to hear and lip read. still don't understand what he was saying. it was like murmuring. one thing I tell you He/She was really really angry at me.

Okay, i know that i created this thread yesterday at 2 AM but ever since then, i can't sleep in total darkness after reading these stories :$

Anyways, here are are some sayings in Islam about Djinns

The Noble Qur'an - Ar-Rahmaan 55:15, 15

He created man (Adam) from sounding clay like the clay of pottery.
And the jinns did He create from a smokeless flame of fire.

Hadith - Sahih Muslim 6757, Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, similar narration 6759 by 'Aisha, r.a.
Allah's Apostle (pbuh) said: There is none amongst you with whom is not an attache from amongst the jinn (devil). They (the Companions) said: Allah's Apostle (pbuh) with you too? Thereupon he said: Yes, but Allah helps me against him and so I am safe from his hand and he does not command me but for good.

Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 4:533, Narrated Jabi bin 'Abdullah
The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Cover your utensils and tie your water skins, and close your doors and keep your children close to you at night, as the Jinns spread out at such time and snatch things away. When you go to bed, put out your lights, for the mischief-doer (i.e. the rat) may drag away the wick of the candle and burn the dwellers of the house." Ata said, "The devils." (instead of the Jinns).

The Noble Qur'an - Al-A'raaf 7:179

And surely, We have created many of the jinns and mankind for Hell. They have hearts wherewith they understand not, they have eyes wherewith they see not, and they have ears wherewith they hear not (the truth). They are like cattle, nay even more astray; those! They are the heedless ones.

Umm, it is quite dangerous, Sleep paralysis has been linked with SUNDS, sudden unexpected death syndrome, google it.You might not want to make this a habit.

I actually wanted to catch her(sometimes i am pretty sure it was a lady) and spend night with her because I heard some stories from people around me that these things are after beautiful humans. and many had s3x with them. so I thought it was my turn but she disappeared (lmao)

I told them that it has already been occupied but they said:"Its empty!" And when I saw it, there really was no one there.

Also, a friend of mine is reported to have told me that it usually happened with him that the PC in his room would automatically turn on at night when he was sleeping alone in the room.

This PC thing happens to me as well. And me and all my neighbors hear footsteps on the roof after 12. I have been there alone at 11:45 ish but never experienced anything. There is a building in my society that is an abandoned Income Tax Office, a dude was slapped on its roof. that building is known to be haunted, there have been sightings and noises. I never go there alone, its a creepy place. I'll post pictures tomorrow

After Reading this thread " abb raat ko neend to nahi ati ! " i better move to my brothers room

I really want to share a incident as well, My Grandmother lives in Rahim yar khan , we really have a big house there and there is also another small attached house with it,My cousins tell me that house is haunted , footsteps , Eyes watching, and etc stuff is common there, i also heard some one running on roof or maybe walking... spooky eh ?, ok now about incident , in Nov 2012 , may Mamo passed away and we all cousins and family were together for his funeral , it was fajr time and my little cousin came out of the house to recite some surhass and tasbeh for her late father and just as she stepped out side , she saw 2 strange big bat type things ,full black coated on the roof , she just screamed and she also told us that those big things were coming towards her... my mom also scnds this and says , she also heard some wind type noises (where as it was quite outside ) when she was alone in that house ..

Personally i think , i've been slapped twice by these paranormal things when i was young

and one more thing , i live in highly populated and cool area ( bahria town ) , in my community there is no empty house and if there is any empty it get's occupied with in days but there is a house in my street which seems pretty weird to me . more then 4 family came in to that house and left with in 2-4 months.. that house is usally quite and activity is nil ,i have my doubts on that house if it's haunted or it's some thing else.

I read this thread yesterday and that generator thing @DarkLordMalik posted.

Yesterday when I came back home from office (power was out and the generator was running) and was making my way upstairs to my room and suddenly the generator stopped (has been happening from a few days needs some servicing..so thats not the real issue). Now I had to go and turn it back on, the back area where the generator is placed is dark with only one bulb which was off as well due to no power. I had this torch with me which has an adjustable lens to converge light at one point...while making my way there it reminded me of RE's hallway missions (because of the torch throwing a straight beam of light across the path) and this freaking thread.

When I reached there, I found the door open and it alerted me because its always shut. Anyways I proceeded ahead when I turned left I saw two mid height figures standing in the dark and that sight instantly reminded me of all this stuff I read here and all the scary games/movie I had played/watched ...scumbag brain. And I almost had a mini heart attack..and I took up the courage and pointed my torch there to find they were my little cousins....a sigh of relief and thats the end.

Could you guys believe, I stayed up till 2AM tomorrow, and was pretty tired, but it still took me like 30mins to sleep just because of THIS THREAD!! -.-

And I hope that GHOSTS could not read English, because if they see us visiting this thread at night, and start haunting us after, that would get a really shitty scene :/

If i keep telling stories like this, they will run out sooner than later.

Besides, everytime i write a story here, i have to remember the moments and i can't sleep properly at night :$

On a funnier note, i have always heard this extremely stupid and weird thing about Pichal Peri here in our rural village. They say that if you encounter one, drop your pants/shilwar. Apparently she/it cannot stand the sight of male organ :lol:

I know that this sounds pretty stupid but believe me the villagers believe this myth strongly.
