It appears gaming has been thrown on the back seat. Xbox One is, essentially, more of an entertainment box than a gaming console.
I'm a fan of technology. Can't say I wasn't impressed with what was showcased. But purely from a gamers point of view,I wasn't very thrilled at what I saw.
You have to be online once every 24 hours. You have to validate pass. There are three OS in the console. Even if it does get hacked it will just get patched soon. Fuck this console. They confirmed EVERY bad rumour they had about their xbox.. wow MS. You will do worse than the Wii U. I really hope you do.
* No Used games (extra fee to install game to second account) as each disc will be tied to a SINGLE XBL account
* Mandatory install for EVERY GAME! to the HDD.
* Won't work without Kinect plugged in which means you HAVE to put it in a proper location where the Kinect can see you
* The Xbox HAS to be online at least once every 24 hours.
But hey at least we can look forward to:
* 4 "new" (already annual) Sports Games
* A new Forza and Quantum Break by Remedy, CoD Ghosts too (being multi platform anyway)
* and TONS OF features we here in Pakistan can't use such as hulu, netflix etc
It sounds like you are buying into a prison sentence than anything else =/
I totally agree, Watching TV now a days is SO COMPLICATED! Have you SEEN the number of buttons on a bloody remote control =p
and in other news, Xbox support twitter account is now stating that the used games thing (pay for install on second account) rumors are NOT true. Sounds like communication inside Microsoft and their employees is a mess =/
Bwahahahahahahahaha Im literally laughing at those tweets HAHAHAHAHAHA... TV so complicated  Bye bye next generation of children the average IQ level will now be less than 100
I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform. Then they cry that console gaming is dying.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
