yep .. u need to get it upgraded to 1.6.. or if u have a benq or samsing drive .. then 1.61 and play wave4 directly ...

update: AC2 patched to wave3 burning onto dvd dl .. ill just see if this works

yar i just checked from reaper and fugy, both are well known here in pindi/isl ...
both of em said it couldn't be done, and reaper even tried it ... to no avail

okay dudes .. AC2 CAN BE Patched to wave3 and it works 100 percent on ix1.6 and ix1.51 !! .. you can ask reaper and fugy to contact me ! guranteed working ... and L4D2 is working too when patched ... that is a wave5 game :wink2:

^^ I just ordered AC2 and L4D2 from fuggyyy and he told me that both can be patched to wave3...

as per my knowledge ac2 and mw2 both can be patched down to wave 3 just like tekken 6

yeah i used the patched version of mw2 ,ac2 and also L4d 2 m using the patched version ov tht game too and it works perfect

Can Patched games harm the 360 or the lens?.. Cus I always refrain from using the Blue double layered discs cus they arent so good with the lens..

Its true Dual Layer DVD makes your lens weak but you dont have either choice also.......If you want to play games you have to sacrifice it......

yeah burned dvds put more strain on the lens than malaysians .... and if ur box isnt banned .. then i wont recommend patched games

malaysian games are not patched .. they are untouched ... and i dont use malaysians .. even the region free games i download them .. just play the game man . .and dont worry abt your drive lens .. its doin just fine .. when the time will come .. it will die

for god sake people nothing harms your lens whether it's melody or Malaysian.every single disc put strain to your lens but it doesn't mean it harm's your lens.plz just use your brain

Yup so far i havent seen any issue with 360's lens......360 do have strong lens.So whether its Malaysian or DL,Game On Hai!!

nah dude .. malaysians put less harm on a lens than a burnt one ... the quality of the punched malaysians is much better than the ones we burn ourselves

I've been using 360 for more than 3 years but my 360 died before my lens die LOL, btw never had any issue with the lens. I've used all brands of dual layer anyways enought with this bullshit lens discussion and stick with the thread.

so if AC2 and L4D2 both being wave 4 and wave 5 respectively CAN be patched to wave 3 then shouldn't it cure the firmware update hassle for everyone with a banned console and 1.6 ... ???
i mean, there isn't any wave 4 or above game that cannot be converted to wave 3 right ... ???

Guys the activation disk is not running on my PAL JASPER, although am able to run Fight Night Round 4 (iXtreme 1.6 i believe) on my console, plz hep as other games are not playable....like COD MW2, Dragon Age etc etc

dude read the posts on the last page !! WAVE3 is also playable on ix1.51 too ... if the activate disc doesnt work ... then u didnt burn the disc right or u need a firmware upgrade to 1.6

yaar theres no need to convert the game .... my personal experience says that converted games hang in between gameplay .. thats why i dont recommend them ... if u have 1.6 or 1.61 .. then the activate disc solves your problem for ALL future waves .. because the activate disc process turns ur drive fw into non-stealth...

well if u dont wanna harm ur lens first copy the dvd to ur hdd and then run the game, very less stress on ur lens that way that is why install feature is good...
