X box 360 E 4 GB -Blurred unclear picture

Guys i just bought an xbox 360 from a pg member.Its fairly new.I have a Sony Klx 46bx450 (46 inch 1080p hdtv)The issue i am currently experiencing is that the reception seems blurred,the picture quality is not good and i see squared pixel,blocks and blurred image.Idk what the issue is it due to my TV? SHould i buy an hdmi cable.I was not expecting for it to perform that bad on my HDTV.

I have an SD a/v cable with three red,yellow,white ports and a 3.5mm sorta jack on the other end.

The HD option is greyed out.I am currently at sd pal 60.Pal 50 shows a better picture but the games dont support that feature and pal 60 gives even worse reception.I am waiting for you response guys asap.

Use hdmi cable a/v cable produce low quality image.

Bought HDMI dispaly is great now..But i cannot hear any sound . wh is that?

Hmm.... it should give sound in default, try checking the settings menu, what is the output source for audio, there may be a chance it may be set to something other than hdmi.
