Windows dying on amd driver install

i have a g510 lenovo laptop and recently needed to refresh windows on it. so i did but when i update my amd driver it makes the pc hang at exactly 50% and if i force shut down and start again then windows gets rekt and doesn't even start and i have to reinstall windows again.

pls halp. i think the card is r5 230

Use DDU in Safemode to remove any known drivers. (Link here)

Afterwards, reinstall the new driver and see if the issue is still there.

i have reinstalled windows 4 times because of this. its happening everytime at exactly 50%

Goodness sake dude.
Revert back to the old driver then.

nigga there is no old driver. fresh windows. installing driver and running into this.

p.s. before reinstalling windows it was working with this same driver version

Alright, now just go through the DDU route.
This probably had enough files installed to mess things up more.
