okay my frnd has this pc, bought it a year ago... i instaleld win7 RC then and it worked okay fr a few days then it started giving a blue screen error. then we instaleld winXp thinking the problem was due to win7 being in beta.

now almost a year has passed, hes sick of using xp, ive just instaleld win7 again and its giving blue screen errors.

here are the system specs:

C2D E7400 2.80Ghz
3 GB RAM
INTEL DG35EC mobo
Slot1--RAM1--2gb DDR2 KINGSTON 400Mhz
Slot2--RAM2--1gb DDR2 KINGSTON 333Mhz (i think cheked earlier, removed now...it wasnt the same as the 2gb one though)
320Gbb WD Caviar HDD
Silver 400W PSU

and heres what ive done to try and fix it:

>>Installed win 32 bit and 64 bit... problem comes with both versions (using 64 bit atm)
>>Fully updated win 7 64bit online
>>installed, updated, and scanned system using Microsoft security essentials
>>updated the intel display drivers from the intel official website (did the automatic chek thingy, result was that some drivers were old and needed upgrading)
>>Removed the PCI modem (wasn't being used)
>>Removed the 1gb Slot of ram in slot 3 (now only using 2gb ram in slot1)

Ive tried what i could now im stuck, attached are the .DMP files of all the blue screen errors if anyone can chek em out for me and help me with this PC !!

1. Did you properly format HDD before installing win 7?
2. Did you try using another win 7 disc to install windows 7?

Sometimes the BSOD occurs due to improper assembling of CPU components. Sth similar happened with me the first time I assembled my pc.

The molex power connector for my HDD was not connected correctly. One of the four pins was pushed half out which was causing the problem. Try disconnecting and re-connecting every wire in your CPU and check for the pin problem I mentioned.

I would seriously recommend formating your hdd..., and I really doubt its hardware problem considering it works fine in XP, otherwise id say try another win 7 disc if formating dosent work

I was having similar problems, So I followed the following steps:

1. Checked for scratched windows cd.
2. Opened up my dvd rw and cleaned the lens.
3. Finally checked my hard disk for bad sectors.
4. checked my rams.

One time it was the scratched windows cd. I changed that.

Couple of months later, same thing happened so this time it was bad sectors in the hard disk. It was in warranty so no issues there.

Third time around after a couple of months, it was the ram. So switched that and now everything is A-ok

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
