will my 360 speed be faster via a wifi router

Wifi requires a wireless network adapter on the 360 so its not possible. Besides wifi decreases the speed on online gaming. So You will be better off with conencting it to the modem

wifi will most probably decrease ur network ping due to signal propagation delay.as far as increasing speed is concerned,many people claim that by directly connecting the DSL modem wire to the console,u will get better speed and pings but i use a network switch in my home and my speed and ping is perfectly ok.in some cases itz evn better than other people using the direct connection!!!
i think as long as ur network is distortion free and not shared by many systems at a time,u will be getting maximum out of ur connection

L LegacyGamerGuy:Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
