Nintendo announces 4.5 million Wii consoles sold worldwide

Nintendo have today announced that their groundbreaking Wii console has become the fastest-selling console in history selling 4.50 million units in just under three months - this is more than the PS2 or Gamecube sold in the same timeframe. "The console has been a huge success all around the world" said president Satoru Iwata.

I wasnt expecting that much from Wii. I cant believe people can go for crappy graphics after seeing Xbox360 or PS3.

maybe for a select few titles like zelda the graphics are sort of good, but just look at the bigger majority of Wii titles..

it doesnt hav hi-def graphics but its fun to play and it is cheap

like i can get a x306 and wii at the same time instead of gettin a single ps3 !
