Wifi Disappearing on Win8.1

Facing strange problem on my laptop, the problem is my PTCL wifi is disconnecting and disappearing randomly, by disappearing I mean its no longer showing under Wifi connections restarting the router usually fix this for few mins sometimes hours (No such issue on mobile, on my mobile I can still connect to PTCL).

This problem is only happening on PTCL Wifi , Connect Net wifi working ok.

Any help guys ?

Using Windows 8.1.

When this happens again, kindly check and post a screenshot of the device manager. Also try uninstalling and reinstalling the WiFi Adapter (from device manager).

I am pretty sure it's a problem with 8.1 refusing to accept proper IPs from the modern, hence connecting and disconnecting itself.

You can also try manually inserting all the IPs in the WiFi adapter, by going to properties of WiFi adapter. Default Gateway would be 192.168.1.1, with the IP being the IP assigned to your device.

My connect wifi is showing but PTCL-BB wifi is not showing, I tried reinstall the adaptor , but to no avail.

How can I manually insert IP bro?

yeah this happens to me too but in windows 8, and it started all of a sudden. Restarting the laptop makes it start working again or disable and enable the wifi but that only helps some times.
