I have seen laptops like dell, hp, acer gets warm fairly quick while apple laptops doesn't heat up that much. What is the reason behind it? Need to know the technicality behind it.

  • I am more interested into processors than laptops.
  • Discuss in terms of power, current, resistors, transistors etc

Optimization and quality of processors and materials used to dissipate heat !!

Now look such as dell xps13 or lenovo yoga series they also run cool but cost around 1.5 lac same as macbook

What do you mean by Apple processors? Apple MacBooks/iMacs all use Intel processors bro
I am comparing apple processors with others like dell, hp etc Please answer on the basis of power and transistors.

Both of you, above me, are missing the point. All these dell, hp, lenovo, Apple uses Intel processors. You are confusing a machine (like dell laptop/desktop pc, apple macbook or hp laptop) with a processor. First clear your concept what's the difference between a system and a processor.

Apple aslso use intel processors

Apple macbook air for example use aluminum case excellent heat dissipation system and use flash storage system

Dell xps 13 which I am using has carbon fibre body underneath and aluminum on top with ssd hard drive

I got your point. I know that all the processors are made by Intel but question is that Why do apple products generate less heat than dell. For example, take any apple macbook (i5) and compare it with Dell i5, you will feel that the dell is getting warm much earlier than apple. There must be some difference in their CPU architecture and fabrication process. Actually, my point of view is electronic... A CPU consists of transistors which generates heat when current is passed through them. So my point is if both of them contain same processor then why doesn't they both produce same amount of heat? Like, does intel use high quality resistors in apple devices or if apple's way of cooling is better that's why it doesn't heat up early?

Undervolt and underclocked CPUs produce less heat and increase power efficiency dramatically. Simple.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
