Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Intel the best bang for the buck right now? So why must one bother buying an AMD product when its competitor offers a better Performance to Price ratio?

AMD offers good price for performance across the board (except for the high end where Intel is still king).

I have used both brands, and think that they each have their strengths and weaknesses. Intel offers better performance, particularly at the high-end of the spectrum; while AMD generally offers "more bang for the buck". My own circumstances are such that "bang for the buck" has to take precedence over absolute performance.
I just want to ask a question.......
Do you want intel processors and motherboards to be cheaper in Pakistan?
if the answer is yes...........then reintroducing AMD into the local Pakistan market is the answer. From a marketing stand of point alone where there is competition...
that will always be good for us....the end user...period...
If cheaper AMD systems are reintroduced then local intel dealers will automatically have to reduce prices.
Ever wonder why a crap Mehran 800 cc is now 6 lacs....even though only a few years ago it was only 3 lac new...there is virtually no competition in the 800 cc locally produced cars right now.
Competition usually always lead to lower prices across the board.

i have been an amd user since the beginning even now using amd, owned one intel and regretted it
amd biggest advantage cheaply available in markets and matches performance
right now my dual core amd athlonx2 5400+gives i3 and i5 first gen a run for it's money
u name it i have played it
even now my amd with a gts250 is producing better fps than my friends i3 secong gen and 6770 ddr5 in tomb raider
even he has lower resolution and settings
never oc'd or some stunt pulled with it
amd biggest advantage cheaply available in markets and matches performance
