Thought I'd see what you guys have to say, and this doesn't include people that own the retailers as it's not them.
Edit: Since most of you guys pretty much have the same answer, well the actual matter of fact is this that ASUS was brought to Pakistan by my late uncle, my dads elder brother that passed away many years back.
He went to the USA in the late 90's and early 2000's to talk to the few main officials and officially brought the chain where he opened the shop in blue area, Islamabad. I've forgotten the original name, but it was the corner shop, which is now dunkin donuts, next to tehzeeb bakers, or whatever they call the old rahat bakery.
He also used to retail other products of small companies at the time like Altec Lansing, etc.
