Which GPU Which I Buy 50k Budget ?

Hi I am looking to buy GPU under budget of 45-50k , I was first thinking of R9 280x then I increased my budget and now I am thinking Gigabyte gtx 970 please help guys thanks.

My System Spec :

Intel i5 Haswell 4570
8 gb 1600 Ram
Gigabyte B85m-d3h mobo
PSU : Will buy 650-700 watt , after deciding GPU.

Yeah ur are right about ur gpu gigabyte GTX 970 is a great gpu but if u still want to save some bucks get 960 when it gets released.

Edit:If u are still keen on getting a970 then try to get a 8 gb version when its available here so i would tell u to wait until mid jan...

I would Say If you can Import GTX 970 It would be better if not then get it from here if you want. GTX 970 Is a Great GPU and Supports Direct X 12 too. But GTX 780 Will Fulfill Your Needs So Go For That And Save Some Bucks.

get 970 but it will cost you around 53-55K depending on brand. for 1080p/ULTRA, 280x/780/290 all are enough and still future proof. so try to save bucks, don't spend too much on GPU blindly. save cash for better PSU. you already have many options out there. so spend wisely.

I would reiterate what @nafu said, wait till the second generation of the newest architecture comes out, which will be soon. Spend your bucks there.

Also at what resolution will you be playing? if its below 1080p or 1080p, just pick up 270x or 280x....if you are planning to go higher then buying a 960 or 970 makes sense. Otherwise it will be useless, especially if you are going for the 8gb versions.

280x is more than enough for you in that case. You can get one cheap these days. Wait for Nvidia's follow up to the 960 and 970 Maxwell architecture, that will be truly more next-gen proof. Though once you have a 280x I doubt you will need a card for another year or two.

To top that on 1080p you won't see any difference not matter if you pick up a 970 or a 280x. The new Maxwell architecture is aimed at 1080+ resolutions, that is why there are 8gb buffers on those cards.

So in short, Unless you are buying a 4k screen to play on, no need to waste money, wait for another year then go next gen on higher resolutions, you won't regret it.

I'd say grab a used GTX 780 from marketplace. Not only will it save you $$ but it is a freaking beast. Or import a GTX 970 if you want the newest architecture. And no matter which GPU you buy, you do not need more than a maximum of 3 gigz vram for 1080p gaming.

Again Get GTX 780 With Corsair GS700. Best Combo OR GTX 970 If you can import it + The Same PSU.

Again he got many Options, the thing is spending cash wisely. 970 worth a lot but ooutside Paistan, where they have it under $400-$420 max, here we have 52K-55K. thats not worthy case. we can have gigabyte 280x xfire @46K max with doubled the performance from 970. even 7950 xfire would cross 970. see Price/performance ratio bent towards AMD, more these days. 780 available here in Marketplace, would be fine option between 38-42K.

For 280x xfire you need Better PSU as well. again single card on line is always better than 2. especially in AMD case untill or unless you know/understand what you're doing, What consequences you will face. this is due to high power draw outta those high end GPUs. AMd more power hungry GPU compare to NVIDIA. try to get better PSU like GS800 or AX/TX series 850w Bronze PSU atleast. to avoid any bottlenecking.

like scaling issue, sometimes in dual GPUs usage become 60%...... so people who are experience in Xfire field, uses some tweaks and configurations to set max performance outta 2 GPUs. but these days AMD drivers are improved and good for xfire too.

GTX 970 is the best option for you in your budget. It supports latest rendering capabilities (e.g. DX12) and is adequate for next-gen gaming experience.
