Which anime would you recommend?

I'll check those out, except Hajime no Ippo and Slam Dunk - cuz I don't really like Sport-related anime.
And it's a good thing you brought up Persona... I wanted to ask if I should watch it, or play the games before I start watching. Thing is, I doubt I'll be able to play all the first 3 games, so is it okay if I watch the anime? Will I understand and grasp the story?

You should at least give Hajime no Ippo a try. It has a considerable amount of comedy and action which blend together and really make it a good anime. Though the same can't be said for Slam Dunk.

I watched Grave of the Fireflies... I don't get the sad part. I mean, sure, it was a little sad.

Well, that is one interpretation... But even if they did see each other, I doubt they recognized each other. It had been like 10 years since they last met? He stopped cuz she looked sorta familiar. But then, he didn't remember who it was.

Theres this other anime called "The Place We Promised In Our Early Days". It closely resembles 5 Centimeters per Second. I might make an AMV on that + 5cm.

Unfortunately, I can't finish that project It's too difficult and I've lost the source file. I'll have to start all over.
The song is "Easy" by Saycet. They have a whole bunch of amazing songs, try searching for them on YouTube.

And, we're talking about "5 centimeters per Second". You'll have to download and watch it, but if you do watch it, make sure it's HD so that you can fully enjoy the amazing art.

You asked about Persona 4. If you can, play the game and better avoid the anime. The anime is ok but the game is amazing. It was my first Persona game and I have played a couple after that but P4 is really one of the best rpgs i have ever played(trust me I have played a lot), that being said you should try to play an undubbed version of P4. Regarding your original post well there aren't that many anime that can compare to the ones you listed. The original Naruto is very good you should definitely try it out. I also recommend Clannad and the second season of it Clannad After story. It is a bit different than other anime but really good. School Rumble is a must watch for most anime fans imo. If you haven't watched that do so now. It won't be available in HD but it has 2 seasons and its hilarious.

Okay, I just finished watching Clannad today. It wasn't extremely sad as everyone kept telling me. But I must admit, at some points I felt as if someone ripped my heart out for a split second. (BTW, I didn't find GOFF very sad either. It was a typica tragedy). A friend told me that After Story is where the real sadness begins, so I'm downloading that atm.

I'm also downloading Valkyria Chronicles and Bakemonotogari (I think someone recommended it up there). I tried looking for Trigun but I can't find it in HD.
Persona 4 is out of my list, cuz I wanna play the game first. I've also put some other series on hold cuz I wanna watch some Studio Ghibli movies Plus, a lot of Hollywood movies are being downloaded as well, so the rest of the anime has to wait.
