When will GTX 980 arrive in Pakistan?

Ok as most know Nvidia's launching its newest Maxwell lineup with GTX 970 and 980 and they will officially launch on September 19, 2014. My question is for those experts who usually import things from round the world that when will they hit the local markets of Pakistan?
I have been patiently waiting for these cards for so long and now my patience is kinda running thin :mushy: so I want them ASAP.
Also about the pricing of 980 there are different rumors, the older being $499 USD while the latest rumor confirming it will be $599 USD while 970 will be priced at $399 USD. I have seen prices in Pakistan and they are usually 35-40% higher. A $400 USD PS4 was selling at 70K+ Rs during the first month of launch. So lets assume if the base price of reference 980 is indeed $599 USD so what would be the safest bet? 70's or 80's? I guess it would launch at Rs. 80K+ in Pakistan.

I need to know that because if you think it will be available within 10 days then I should start getting my WTS thread for my HD 6950 2GB up asap.

End of September is pretty cool, wouldn't mind getting early but its still like 10 days only. I guess people from likes of galaxy/czone will try to get their hands on it ASAP to beat the competition.

Same question. What about the prices of 770, 780 and titan?
They are priced pretty reasonably at czone rightnow considering their international prices, 780ti for 77k, 780 for 61k and 770 4gb for 46.5k. I would grab 780ti immediately if Maxwell weren't releasing within a week.
My guess is there prices won't reduce, atleast not in Pakistan as distributers will just import the newer cards and older kepler series will slowly fade into oblivion.

I already have 780 OC so may not upgrade so early but looking forward to new innovation.
There is no need honestly, not unless you plan to game on resolution higher then 1080p. 970 and 980 are not revolutionary when it comes to performance gains, theoretically 970 is equal to 780 and 980 is a bit SLOWER then 780ti. This is just wild speculation based on their leaked specs, it doesn't account for newer architecture so they may end up fast.
What we do know is that they use much less power then kepler which means lower temps = more room for overclock.
A GTX 980 has 175W TDP max as compared to 250W TDP 780 TI while roughly equal in performance. However 980 coming with a price tag of $600 USD it may end up faster then Ti, guess we will know in 2 days.

I will be upgrading from 6950 2GB, assuming the graphics charts at tomshardware is right then a 980 is 3 times faster then my current card. :)

I already game on 2560*1440p for last 2.5 years. Believe it or not I used to play at this resolution on 670 at medium to high settings. On 780 OC I have to set FPS limit in BF4 so my system doesn't heat up while trying to keep up with GPU.

What I am really looking forward to is increased TXAA performance and superior sampling algorithms in combination with G-Sync to remove tearing. Now it's not about FPS or antialiasing anymore, now its about image quality and sharpness.

If tearing is your issue then you are much better off by investing into a 120 hz Led display. That should remove any tearing unless you are playing a 10 years old game.

For now adaptive V-Sync works wonders. However 120 Hz LED with 2560*1440 resolution is almost impossible to find. For pure gaming PC it's best solution to get 120Hz display for 3D and no tearing. For a Digital Painting/Drawing + Gaming, it's a compromise. Tearing doesn't bother me, but I love super sharp images and TXAA.

So 970 and 980 are officially launched today, benchmarks are pilling up and we have official MSRP for both cards.
The highlight of the day is 970. The reference card is faster then reference GTX 780/R9 290x.
Lets compare it againist AMD's flagship R9 290x. 970 is faster, uses 1/2 the power of R9 290x and runs much cooler and quieter. Not only that 970 will retail for $329 USD. AMD/ATI is basically ****** at this point.
I am no fanboy, as a matter of fact I am using HD 6950 for over 2 years but at this point there is REALLY no need to go amd, not unless AMD competes somehow.

Can't wait for them to arrive in Pakistan.

The new series couldn't have been released at a better time. I recently created a new rig without a GPU and am now saving up for it. GTX 970 at $329 is a great price for me as I was considering R9 280x and GTX 770 2GB before now.

did you try setting up Google Payments? For UBL you may have to get it enabled for internet transactions, Naya should work without it!

Did y'all see the new Assassin's Creed trailer? They finally made a AC set in Japan & then they put a negro as the male protagonist. Ubisoft is taking cues from Disney, and it isn't gonna end well for them, just like Disney. Go woke, go broke!

if we are moving towards more and more popular trash across platforms that make billions for companies, I'm happy with all the barriers and exclusivity because at least that brings some pressure to create good stuff.
