The world tree the source of the nightelves power kills him, the night elves give up there immortality to save the world. The nightelves destroyed the world tree by stacking up the wisps and then launching a huge blast. The worldtree was the place where the Xel Naga created the Night Elves, Sargeras ( Eye of Sargeras ) is/was a Xel Naga himself he created the Legion. These Xel Naga ( not to be confused with Naga's ) are like the gods of warcraft universe, Cenauirs was a demi god the first of the Night elves, archimonde was the Legion's Demi god.
Or were you simply asking did i find the ending strange? umm, no i thought it was awesome but you probably didn't have much idea about warcraft histroy.

thats probably it, especially near the finale everyone started going "10000 years ago, now they're back , like we did before" blah blah, the story probably leads on from warcraft 2

Actually they did kind of explain everything in warcraft 3, you just didn't pay enough attention. Short version the Legion consumes the energies of other worlds they have tried before to consume Azeroth but the night elves + Cenarius defeated them. They then sent the orcs whom were eventually defeated by the Alliance ( Human vs Orc is the main story in first 2 warcraft games ). Their third attempt was using the undead

uh.. too much story lol, btw i finished the first 'episide' of the orc campaign bonus missions in frozen throne and it told me that the remaining 2 episodes are coming, the episode 2 is already in my PC but what about episode 3 ?

no thats the thing, when i copied the setup from my local area it had a patch thingy in ti too and seeing as how my game IS showing episode 2 im hoping that the episode 3 will get unlocked once i beat episode 2. Is that the case ?

oh, episode 2 and 3 come in the same patch so yes you have the full camp.

well so far my general opinion is that im really loving the orc bonus campaign thingy more then the normal campaign mode, the thing with being one hero etc is fun. I'll probably repick diablo 2 too

and you called wow overrated the orc bonus camp is like a mobile version of WOW.
Diablo 2 is a bit different its very hack and slash and can get boring.

a solid 9/10 from me, probably because i played it too late. meh. Btw that silent hill map is kick ASS, the guy froze the camera so it sort of looks like the silent hill prespective, and there's awesome fog ! voice acting etc etc

hate this stupid childish game , so repetitve and boring plus makes you dizzy. i`m holding out till the vehicle levels , hope theyre better than the platforming parts

completed 5 metal slug games in co-op in 5 days ! that should be a record ! they are all so fun and frantic , unlimited continues ftw !

how long is this game ? i thought snes games didnt have savegame technology ! i`m 5 hours (2.5 more like , with the 160fps frameskip and all) in and i was hoping thats how long the game would be. any help ?

if your not using any sort of level editing tools then it'll take you about 40 ish hours of actual game time, and the snes had save ability too, special built in batteries with the cartridges that supported them

THAT SUCKS !. i was really bored and sleepy last week. the only thing i could play was a rpg i`m back at baron where the twins turn in to stone , do i really have 40 hours to go i kinda want to see the ending.
