PC Weaker systems runs heavier games competition (share your experiences)

On this budget pc only battlefield 3 is running on med settings. All other games like crysis, cod mw3, starcraft 2, dirt 2 etc on high settings(no aa).

i dont think my system is weaker but im using core i5 2500k processor and it can run any game in good FPS using its intel 3000 gfx ;p

Recently played BF3 on Intel Core 2 Quad q6600 2.4 ghz,4 GB KINGSTON RAM ,ATI Raedeon HD 5450 (Not sure if ti's 1gb or 2 gb cause I saw it in the ATI Catalyst ,it said 2 gb :O ) I'm not sure of the MOBO and PSU .... I played bf3 on lowest possible resolution with everything on mid-high ..it was 80% smoothness ...And I played it with 1024x720 resolution with everything on low with IMO 90% smoothness ...

I have c2q q6600 with 2gb ram and msi r4850 and it is running farcry 3 on high setting with 45 fps and slepping dogs on 768x1024 res and sttings on ultra with 29 fps amaizing rig i love it got just in 23k

its specs: Pentium 4 2.66GHz 478, D845(Ibm), 2GB DDR, 40GB, eVGA 6800 Ultra AGP 256mb/256bit and Bestec 300W.
Resolution 1280x1024
Games played: NFS UNDERCOVER, CARBON, MOST WANTED, SFIV, Resident Evil 4-5, Brian Lara Cricket 07, FIFA 08-10, Call of Duty MW and MW2 and some more.

Okay not really a Heavy Game but i played COD4 on AMD 4000+ 1GB ram with 8500gt. It was quite smooth! But occasional jitters here and there!

I can't overclock my Ram or CPU neither my GPU cause of the power supply so all settings @stock

My dad uses my gaming pc for skype >.<
Im stuck with my laptop.
Intel C2D T6600 2.2Ghz
500gb HDD
4gb DDR3
Nvidia G105M 512MB

Technically it can run many games but due to the sudden bottlenecks I have to run the games (Especially Hitman Absolution, DOTA 2, EVE, SWTOR, Guildwars 2 and BO2) at 800x640 and most of the times in window mode.
Any help would be appreciated.
Im using Razer Game Booster (and I have tried OCing my GPU and it doesnt help) !

for get about the power supplies , 5 years before , I had p3 I was a gamming freak , I even didn't sleep for 3 days plzzz believe me . I altered an 80w amplifier in my casing & 2 hard disks . a fan self built with a machinery (may be 5w) & ended many games ....... tom raider , nfs mw , under ground 2,7, hitman 3, p igi global conflict, sun age ,
gta 3,4. gta sanandreas , gta god father , transformers , etc..... all on that p3......... no overclocking


so u can overclock oc to non branded is difficult ... I oc my gpu with nvidia overclocking & rivatuner.

for nvidia oc use their Ntuner + rivatuner ,as I did. my gpu is stock @ 3.ggb/s oc 6.0gb/s stock stable.

*Bioshock, RES : 800x600 on 35 to 40 fps no AA no AF med/low graphics
*Duke Nukem Forever, RES : 800x600 on 30 fps no AA no AF med/low graphics

i had a pentium D 3.2Ghz and 1.5gb ram and a 9400Gt 512mb ram on it.
I used to run GTA IV on high settings with a miserable 9-11 fps @ 1024x768 resolution.
The same spec ran a COD MW2 at the same resolution with high settings giving over 20+ fps
Far Cry 2 Very High settings no AA 4x AF DX9 gave 14-19 fps
