Hi , Is there any way to increase your eyesight , i have now a number 1 for each of my eye (diapter or somehing the unit is ) . the reason to make this thread is that if any of you knows any totka that worked kindly do let me know too coz i really need to improve my eyesight . few years back i had my eyesight pretty normal all the vision was clear but when in exams i read alot of books and found out that i m having a blurry vision . since then the blur has increased alot . pleaase help

No easy way to improve eyesight, but there is a way to slow down the degradation process. I think eating carrots helps. Remember, it will only slow down the degradation process if you keep eating 3 or 4 carrots for one whole year. Also, get glasses asap. Eat 3 or 4 carrots for one whole year and you will start seeing a difference.

Found one from a link by googling: (this method was also told to audience in Pakistan in a TV Show on ARY I think).

This is proven (in Japanese studies) to actually improve eyesight.
However it must be done several times a day, every day.
Basic concept: There is a simple drawing/picture on a piece of paper.
The paper was placed on a type of old fashioned closeline and started
about 1 foot away from the person doing the excercise.
The person focused on the picture as it was moved somewhat fast
back and forth on the clothesline. Starting distance was about 1 foot
from the subject, and maximum distance was about 10 feet away.
Sessions lasted about 5 minutes. Vision tests given immediately after
this procedure showed significant improvement.

I can tell you a simple exercise. Take any object or your own thumb. First focus on it for like 5 minutes or so. Then focus on an object that's 10-20 feet away from you for the same duration. Then back again focus on a close object. Do this practice daily which I'd recommend to everyone. Helped my elder brother evade complete blindness and he had 6+ on his eyes that dropped to a mere 1 now after this constant exercise for 6 months.

thanks shary , and also tell me about laser treatment , i heard people lost their eyesite completely after that . 3-4 carrots in a year i can eat 30 - 40 kgs of carrots in a year, i heard of billberries where can i find them i heard billberries fixes your vision not even carrot can.

my uncle had very weak eyesight, it was like -5, -6. He started eating gajar ka muraba (carrot sweat dish)everyday for 6 months. His eyesight improved to -2 now. You should look into that.

I would also suggest to read where there is proper light in the room.

Carrot doesnt help main kha kha kay thuk gaya hun -.-

depending on ur age ur eye sight will only become weaker till u hit about 18 years of age after that it stop there
by the time u approach middle age ur eye sight actually improves thought not cured but improved

my friend life is short and if u really want to get rid of glasses i suggest Laser treatment when u hit 21 years of age

btw all this is assuming ur in teenage rite now (sm1)

spyder i tried looking at distant objects but all seems blurry so i feel there is no point staring at blurry objects , or should i stare wearing my spectacles ?

Started ophthalmology now...
Being a "to be doctor" i know the normal physiology and the pathology behind the condition you are referring to "Myopia"
Myopia occurs when the image of the lens falls infront of the retina which normally should strike the retina...
So you wear the lens "glasses" which for your condition are convex o concave...

I explained the whole process above just to make it clear that carrots have nothing to do with the myopic correction. Its a myth.... Not a complete myth though, since there are conditions like night blindness in which eating carrots simply do wonders... This is only when you dont have other ophthalmic disorders .
The carrots have the Vitamin A, (Retinol) which is required by the cells of the retina (Rods and cones)....
Rods are specific for the vision in dark while cones for day vision....

So the only remedy: wear glasses... That i have been doing since i was of 13years age

Carrots only increase your night vision...they contain vitamin A which is used to create a pigment called visual purple which helps you see you in the dark...a defeincy of vitamin A would result in night blindness nothning else.
