i genearlly arent botherd about antiviruses, i used to use avg before but then it got all crappy and started giviing update problems. now been using avira free edition fr quite a while and its working all okay!!

Avaira, NOD 32, Kaspersky are outstanding antivirus solution when it comes to database update timing and load on pc.

There is no such thing as a God Damn Good Antivirus.
It works for some, some complain it doesn't

So far, i've experienced and liked only 3 AntiViral Softwares.

Order as per Recommendation

1. Kaspersky Security Suit 2009
2. Avira Antivirus
3. Norton Internet Security

NOD, Panda, AVG all failed me. Crap softwares according to me. Dont say about those who are happy with these. There is another Program called "Trojan Remover" IF installed with these, can make your system secure in true meanings.

^ i also use avira antivirus and it worked so fine with me remove all viruses from my hdd and does not slow my pc speed and does not block all the key gen pirated softwares whereas avg and some other can block all the keygens and some of pirated softs

Since there are sooo many thread about "SUGGEST ME THE BEST ANTIVIRUS" or "WHAT IS THE BEST ANTIVIRUS", I think there should be a Sticky Thread about Antiviral Softwares, updated only by one of the Mods with little information.

Softwares should be categorized from Ok > Better > BEST
A little information or Unique part about that software (if any) should be written along with the name. For instance, Norton Internet Security/Norton Antivirus 2009 is a Gaming Edition and consumes only 10MB from your system making it work extremely fast and Brutal against Viruses or Trojans etc etc.

This will help people A Lot in choosing a good one rather than getting comments from every single member like NOD is coool, hey Kasper is kick @$$ etc etc ....
